FFS, I just did a £40 spin on wild witches slot.

Was pressing the change coin size button as i usually do but im sure it went down to 20p a spin, only thing i can think of is that i pressed on the max bet button.

Live chat wasnt available, as i am playing on a bonus i sent them an email explaining what happened.
I have explained that if they look at my history that they can see that im a low roller.
Pretty gutted as i was up to £136 from just a £20 deposit with 100% bonus with only £350 wagering left.
Doing pretty ok for netent for a change and some of the newer slots have been kind to me, especially Twinspin giving me a £68 win for a 25p bet.
Gonzo took £50 off me with no freefall feature on 20p bet which i have never known to be that bad before.

I didnt win on this £40 spin which im glad of really.

Anyway, as i have explained it to the casino, do you think it best to stop playing until they give me a response.

Gutted at £40 going just like that, first time i have done this though but probably wont be the last lol.

Cheers

YES!
Not really a question - which is why I guess you didn't add a question mark!

Cheers.

It was a question.

The mistake has been made, i wasnt sure if there was any harm in carrying on playing as i have never broken any terms on any casino.
And this one wasnt intentional.
Highest bet i have ever made on a casino is 90p a spin nevermind £40

Since you are glad of it, I guess that means they have some kind of limit for allowed bet sizes when wagering bonus money.

If the maximum bet size was £5, if their policy is to remove all winnings with over-sized bets, then they should give back £40, since you couldn't have won anything with that bet anyway, if their policy is to adjust the winnings based on maximum allowed bet size, then they should give back £35.

You can bet that if i did win something with it, then the casino would have looked at it differently.
Im proper gutted, £40 is more than my average deposit.

Everything is ok, they said i could have just carried on playing as i had let them know as soon as it happened

I feel for you... same thing happened to me in starburst. The casino is not to blame, if they'd return the money probably hundreds of people would start abusing that. I say the fault lies with netent for placing the max bet in such a horrible location, and the fact that certain games always start out on the highest coin size when you open them. It's almost like they put it there in the hopes that people would accidentally click it

The people who design and set up the games know exactly what they are doing. Just look where they set the max button....right where it can be accidentally hit:eek:. All they have to do is put the max button on the top of the page. Then if you want to play max you know where to find it and it won't be hit by accident. Problem solved

Or even have the max bet button, select the max bet, but not actually spin the reels

oops. didn't see the previous posts suggesting the same thing, until after i'd posted
