I am new to this forum so hello from a fellow gamer to another. Recently I got hooked on the Great Blue Slot. Hooked might not be the right word to use , more should I say excited by the massive payouts that I have seen on youtube videos with this slot from playtech. I played this game on betfair and I won big quite quickly like 3,300 euro with 5 euro stakes. I hit the bigwin after wagering around 500 euros. I have not played since. I have had a William Hill account for over 8 years now, and have played a lot of slots, sports, live casino, etc. I started playing Great Blue here, and have staked around 9,000 Euros , and have only maybe hit the bonus round 6 times, with a maximum pay out of around 750 euros. The other pay outs where rubbish, like 150 euro, 200 euro , 180 euro . I sometimes go on runs without hitting the bonus round for about 3,000 euros. It's sickening at times . I asked a rep for the RTP of this slot and she could not give it to me. I some times think that if you play this slot on a new Casino your chances are much higher for a big pay out then a casino where you have been playing for a while. Anyone have any information on this slot. It is so high variance and it has taken too much out of me..

I've played it alot (200k+spins) and it's very high variance so swings like 3000€ down on a 5€ bet can happen. My longest run without a feature went on for 1500 spins during which it ate 640xbet from my bankroll (after that I gave up). On the brighter side I've also hit +1000xbet on it twice not to mention many lower juicy wins.

The slot is random so it doesn't matter where you play it or are you new/old to the casino where you are playing it. The listed RTP seems to be at 94.25%. Best of luck

Best thing to do it give it a complete break and try some low to mid variance games; here you should get a lot more playtime for your money, but still the chance of a decent (not mega) hit

Already mentioned at many places on the forum and ITT....Great Blue is actually ultra high variance.....you will hit that one awsome spin on a 10x or 15x and when you do...you have to cash out fast else the whale's going to eat it all back up. Irish Luck and Penguin Vacation are all in the same category so you could give them a go if you get bored or want to still play something that could hit big. I usually give each like 100 spins regardless of if get the bonus or not...
