Question Great Blue (Playtech)

Hell yeah. I have gone over 1000 spins many a time only to be rewarded with 25, 30 or 33 spins at 2x at the end of it :eek2:

But every now and again....

I usually give it 200 spins then leave, chasing a bonus on this is dangerous.
You don't always need a bonus. Last year the base game paid me my highest ever win on the slot.

this along with Irish luck and Penguin Vacation should be called "ultra high super variance"......not uncommon to go a thousand spins without a feature and then even in the feature fail to pick a X...

That's surprising. I've done better on Playtech than I've ever done on any other platform including Microgaming and Netent. I don't think the TRTP makes much difference at least I've never felt it does otherwise I'd still be playing Netent on a 97% TRTP. As it stands I won't play any other software but Playtech. The rest are terrible. I've hit many payouts on Great Blue but I've never won a thing on BDBA or DOA. I think the spread of wins and variance need to be considered as well.

I love this slot but it is a very dangerous one...
Had a few nice hits on it but not a real biggie yet...
Always play it at Bet365 and on the long run I am a few pound up on this one...
Defo capable of some sick hits if ur lucky... :)

Many of their slots have RTPs in the very low 90s, which is worse than RTG.

Yeah, I think Playtech generally is offering a lower RTP on their games than for example NetEnt and Microgaming.

One example may be Iron Man 2 that (according to Betsafe) has a RTP of 91.32%, but that is the non progressive version.

(edit to add: Williams Hill is listing Iron Man 2 (progressive) with a RTP of 95.98% according to the link fire posted).

The 50-line versions of Playtech's Marvel slots have RTP's around 2-3% lower than the originals.

Personally I don;t think you'll notice a lot of difference in most sessions, if any, between 91% and 95%. It's more about your ability to pick the right moment to stop and walk away.
