I'm just wondering what standard of graphic you like.

What is the best looking game you have seen, and why do you like it?
And what would you like to see?
All casino games are eligable.

Myself i have gone through tons of games, but havent found anything i really really like, except the stuff i have worked on myself.

Pre thanks to all for the uppcomming answers.

NON-1980's graphics would be nice :) Well thought out themes would be nice for slots also (are you listening MG??)

I have 2 (you can click to see screenshots if you have never seen them):

They both have awesome graphics that can keep you interested... The first one tops them both because it has 4 separate bonus games including a free spins feature like nothing else out there. The second has, quite simply, the best 3D graphics out there that I have seen for an online slot.

Not sure what you are looking for here, but put some creativity into the slots... a serious casino software provider has to do little more than walk the casinos in Las Vegas to see what is popular. It's not difficult and there are great games out there like Power Ball from WMS Gaming which is very unique. There are sooooooo many to look at and get ideas from.

Good Luck and I hope I've helped :)

I want to place my own art or photography or favorite pics in a directory and rank them for favorites, then have the software generate those images on the screen. Not a new idea, but even in a B&M you could drop in a photo CD and the machine could do it.

Great questions!
I like to ply videopoker and taste it in different casinos with different softwares.
The more popular casino/software developer, the less attractive games ( design) .
Back to questions, I like simple and intelligible graphic. I hate ridiculous attemps of the designer to bring the picture closer to the reality. ( sorry in advance but it's my opinion). Especially, this concerns flash casino. I can understand the technical details but still sometimes game design looks like a child pictures.

I'd like to see graceful simplicity in the games.
THanks:)

I agree with this! The first time I played at 3Dice and the beetle/scarab ran across the screen I almost had a heart attack!

And if you want to talk about non-thought out graphical inconsistency in games - why does the Playtech "Sultan's treasure" game have a bloody magician's TOP HAT as the wild/highest paying symbol?

I think video poker machines are what's most desperately in need for a visual upgrade.
Absolutely! Especially RTG single-hand VP! :barf:

Anyway, to answer the OP's question: I really, really, really like the wild and scatter symbols in Avalon. There's something very appealing about them, especially the scatter when it is animated (doubly especially if there are 3 or more of them :D). The wild and scatter symbols in Tomb Raider are pretty good too.

Although I do think it's possible to condition yourself to like any graphic if you can remember a fantastic win where a certain symbol played a large part of it - you'll start to like that symbol more and more after the big win, even if it's not aesthetically pleasing.

3Dice's King Tut and The Joker slots have some nifty animations when you get higher-paying combinations, I do like those.

But what makes MG so appealing for me is that not only do they have the slickest/most colorful graphics, but the code that handles them is highly optimized so the games run much faster and smoother than any other software brand.

Thx for the answers so far.
Many good tips and hints out there :-)

My opinion for a game is.
1. This looks fun. (first impression)
2. This game is fun and looking great.
3. The payout is good/great also.
4. I'm reccomending it to my friends.
5. If im returning after a month i will still think this loogs good and has great gameplay.

I can agree that when a company grows they tend to becomme lazy, and just spit out games fast.

I can say that my impression of the treasure hunter slot is.
Looks good, i want to test it.

First impression.
Just like when you look at a movie comercial. Either the spot is so good that you actually go and see the movie.
How many of you havent bought a book, or seen a movie based on the information by the cover or poster?

yeah i love animations. not only on the reels, but on the main screen slot also,
if it is a good animated background i can sit and watch it for awhile.
And some time just play for fun, to see all the animations.

I would like to see a really good fireworks slot.
Anyone seen one?

About the creativity:
Yeah i think it is a lack of it, but the developers, tends to just say, well this is working lets stick to this.
And that saying is not different from any other buissnies developer.

About the sultan hats: I really dont know, i think maybe the designers did not read up on sultans, and therefore mixed the sultans with wizards.

Of course i agree with you Slotwizard, the games must be optimized to run.
If a game slows down the computer or anything else, the developer must fix it.
Myself tried many games, that werent optimized, (Turning into Yoda talk here),
I mean a P4 duo 2.13 shouldnt have any problem to run a casino game.

I think the industry needs to listen to the end customer, to be able to make great games.

1. naked chicks on backs of cards

2. naked chicks on slot reels

3. naked chicks in the cashier window

I dont know if chicks solves everything, my (post your hottest chick) seemed to have died out. So the intrest for naked chicks dosent seem to attract people, strange...

But(t) think that would look really nice, if they were handdrawn, like cool comic book babes. Their are some really good artist out there.

I would really love to see some variations on the chips.
Like in Vegas they have pictures on their chips, and all the online casinos use a standard template for em.

And so are the cards, so in a way you are right. Would love to see some difference in that to.

I mean if they can do it in Vegas why cant they do it in the online casinos?

i think the cards and chips being at like 1/10th of life-size makes them harder to customize in an appealing way.

and definitely with the asian craze that seems to be going on, some hot manga chicks congratulating a feature win or dealing the game would be very appropriate. even cartoon boobs are good. i had a mean hard-on for sailor moon back in the day lol. it's that japanese school uniform.

if i ever go to japan, i am definitely hitting up one of those health parlour thingies.

Well when i mean chips and cards and so on, i mean the whole game is based on a theme.

Well see if you can see what this is.

Everyone runs theme based slots and other games.
It is the little things that makes you go ahhh, cool.

And yeah it would be cool to have a animation, when you win big big, a babe or hunk, comes out to congratulate you on the big win.

Or like a boxing lady walk across the screen with a sign that sayes how much you have won.

My favorite games, graphically speaking:-
Atlantis (GV) - just amazing.
Monopoly Hear & Now (WW) - love the aminations (& sounds too!)
Crypto's newer slots (e.g. new Marvels) - the way the 'symbols spread across the screen' and the bonus rounds.
Magic Spell (MG) - I love the bonus round 'cartoon'! (Sad, but true! :o)
Cashanova (MG) - Same as above! :p
Cubis (Crypto) - a 3D work of genius.
Fruit Frenzy (RTG) - The graphics (& sounds) make me giggle so much I hardly notice how much I am losing...
