Could the UK government operate a casino? ID checks would surely be easy for them. Profits go to government funds. They could ban all other casinos from operating in UK. No disputes over payments since they are the government. This may be a stupid thread/idea but one decent casino and that's it - it would simplify things greatly. We have the national lottery so it would be an extension of that

Well with this current government, nothing would surprise me. But more than likely, they would probably reintroduce the betting tax that Blair's government did away with, rather than run a casino, A casino of which they would probably manage to run at a loss and into the ground within 18 months.
Scottish, Welsh and Norn Irish players at the casino would be treated unfairly whilst the English players get priority treatment too!

Can you imagine Rachel Thieves cutting RTPs in each budget alongside raising NI and taxes? You'd end up with only Gnatents and Play'n GO's on 84 - 86%.

Oh yeah, and 4 zeros on the roulette wheel.

What an idea. Let's cede more autonomy to the dystopian fun fascists and just have it centralised altogether.

Mooted titles include:

Keirnanza

Featuring 117,649 ways to be gaslit, expect to be enthralled as your balance gets blown into oblivion via austery symbols, as you seek to release the inner sausage within you. Has the now-infamous 'Unlimited Multi-liar' decreasing Bonus Feature, which subtracts from your overall balance at its conclusion!

TRTP: flip-floppey

Rayner's Millions

A 243-Ways To Be Hypocritical slot that's popular among players seeking to exploit the system to their advantage, whilst hoarding all the good shit for themselves. This property-themed game has a riotous 'Collect' mechanic too, meaning that players get to have the illusion of ownership and higher status, only for it to mean precisely f***-all as an animation plays out featuring a lifelike cartoonish Rayner snarling "You ain't having that chuck" and setting the player's balance to 0.

TRTP: nice if you can get it

Book of the Lammy

A Mastermind-themed slot featuring an array of symbols such as pies, cakes and S&M paraphernalia.

Wins and losses have no rhyme or reason, and can be whatever the player wants them to be, as illustrated in the paytable, which is unfortunately depicted via finger-painting and crayon scribblings.

TRTP: Henry VII

One need not worry about Source of Wealth checks, as no one will have any. Yet those wishing to partake will have been branded, or have Digital ID, so that verification's a doddle!

Those lucky enough to only be 50% down when withdrawing will be paid Amazon vouchers and a MacDonald's Happy Meal via JustEat, as they can't be trusted with money.

Let's go Government Casino!

That would remove the backhanders and perks profided by lobbiests that line politicians pockets so it would never happen
