That is not in the dry yet. Madrid won't give up so easily.
Personally, I would wish the Catalans to finally have their own country, if not then maybe at least an autonomous status. Although, they would have to annex a small part of France to have the complete territory united.

I'm surprised the Guardia Civil didn't storm in and fire a bazooka at the old ballot box.
I believe that the U.N. plans to draw up new boundaries of small regions; in my part of the world, I guess that will be Kent and Essex (the police forces have already merged); so maybe the Catalonians will get a little slice of France, but then again, after this 'impertinence', maybe not.
If we want real independence, we must disengage from the U.N. and the E.U. (or whichever union is being forced upon your particular continent)
