Dear customers,

Recently, as a result of pending legal matters, Gold-Pay was forced to
suspend all gaming related transactions. We do not have a timleine for
when those issues will be resolved or what the outcome will be. We do
apologize for this disruption in our operations and we know this is
both unexpected and unfortunate for everyone involved. You may
continue to access your account but no account activity will be
possible until the legal issues have been resolved. Please contact us
via secure mail if you have any questions.

Regards,

Customer Support

I've never actually used Gold Pay but had registered an account.

That is weird they would send an e-mail like that, because in #3 of their terms it states:

Account users are explicitly forbidden to use their accounts for any unlawful activity in their respective jurisdiction of residence

Don't you think that includes gaming sites?Maybe I am wrong here. But I have strong gut feeling, alot of others will be next. I am not going to name the ones I think will be next, but one even has a disclaimer stating the transactions for online gaming are stictly forbidden but ALOT of casinos still offer it. And it is widely used. Go Figure....

That's a seizure. If it was merely a legal argument, then it SHOULD still be possible to use Goldpay for non-gambling related transactions, or to clear out any credit in the account.

So, WHY were eWalletXpress supposedly bound by a "gagging order" and spent 2 months lying to players, yet Goldpay came straight out with the truth, even though they don't seem willing to answer further questions.

Maybe EWX were never subject to any such "gagging order" in the first place, and were lying for different reasons that had nothing to do with legal issues.
