Thirty nine years ago, a young ingenue left the sunny shores of Australia on an around-the-world trip. Five years maximum, I thought - a chance to broaden my horizons, to see what else life could offer me, and to meet people with different views and perspectives, before heading home again.

Many, many years, and many countries later - both lived in, and just visited - and I am (almost) on my way home. Because yes, even after all this time, "I still call Australia Home".

September 2nd sees me boarding the Flying Kangaroo for possibly the last time, so in the next month, I am going to be very busy tidying up the remainder of my life over here in the UK, and forging the links to my new (old) one back in Australia.

There is not going to be much time for anything else except getting ready to get on that plane, and when I do touch down on those faraway shores once more, settling into my new life. So my gambling days are just about done, and this actually will be my very last post. I just wish I had found CM sooner as it is a brilliant website in terms of available information.

CM has taught me how to gamble "properly" - in terms of which casinos to play at, how to recognise rogue casinos (and eveeel players!), what bet sizes to play with according to deposit size, randomness, RTP, RNG, RIPD :)D SO looking forward to the movie!), and a whole raft of other things.

And the members - what can I say? So many of you are true characters, it has been a delight sometimes just to listen to the banter and exchanges between all of you.

Some of you have helped me develop a thicker skin.
Some of you have helped put me to sleep with long-winded (albeit informative) posts.
Some of you maths genii have left me even more bewildered and confused than I was before.

But ALL of you have helped make the CMUniverse a respected, brilliant site.

So to Bryan, MaxD, The Muppet, and all the rest of you...

Live long and prosper placing those bets.

Cheers

Juicy

I know exactly what you're going through. I have done the same just a few weeks ago.

It's tough to break up and leave everything and everyone you know, but with the net it doesn't seem so far to anything these days.
This is an addictive place but if you stay away, then good luck
If you come back you'll be very welcome! :)

What you moved to Malta Tirilej??? :) Like I left Denmark 6 years ago for UK :)

It's been a pleasure to know you. I do hope it's not really your last post... I hear they have internet and everything in Australia now.

Well thanks juicy, for the kind words.
My experience is much the same..

Just wondering (not that it would be bad) why you are stopping with gambling and posting?

Like jas and tiri pointed out, they do have internet there, and if you "come back" then your welcome:)
Anyway, for now, have a pleasant flight, and good luck with whatever your going to pursue!

JuicyFruit sorry seems I made the post without thinking talking about Tirilej then talking about me. Who cares about her and me :D

Just wanted to wish you all the best down under!!! and all the best in the future. And yes surely you better come back here again at CM it is only a login away ;)

Well, it's one in, one out! My sister could well be marrying her Aussie partner in the coming year, who is in the UK. I don't blame you, given the way the world is going I think Australia would be better to retire to then this crowded and broken Island. You got space, freedom and seemingly still have politicians that listen to the people to some extent and don't have outside interference like we do via the E-USSR.

A man who has travelled has usually led a full life and becomes wise as a result.

Enjoy the sun, think of us scraping ice off our windows in 18 weeks time.....:)

All the best, good luck and enjoy!
