I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong forum. I wasn't sure where to put it. This is just crazy. I deposited $20 on GammonEmpire, got a $25 deposit bonus that was released when I completed 40 games. This money sat in the GammonEmpire account for over a month and when I tried to withdraw, they took it back saying I was just trying to hunt their bonus. Now realize it took me maybe a week of casual playing to clear the $13. What sense does this make? I know its just $13, but it irritates me.

Dear Sirs,

On 10/30/2006 I deposited $20 and received a $25 first deposit bonus on my account cybernerd. I played the required games to release the bonus. On 12/9/2006 I requested a withdrawal of $33 to my neteller account. It was never received and I hadn't heard anything from you. I logged back into my gammonempire account today and I see the withdrawal was marked rejected, and now I only have $20.83 in my account. Can you please look into this and let me know what the problem is?

Bonus Code Status Given on Valid From Valid To Required
Games # Current

STEP25 Released Initial deposit bonus 10/30/06 11/29/06 40 40 $25 Release restricted

Thanks in advance

Hello,

Our management have decided to reject your withdrawal request since you have immediately tried to withdraw your balance as soon as you have received the bonus. This, and the fact that you have played the exact amount of games necessary in order to redeem it suggests that your sole purpose was to "hunt" the bonus.

You may only cashout the wirth of your intial deposit.

Sincerely,
Steve

I've only just learned to play backgammon. I received an email invitation from your site offerring this deposit bonus, and felt this was an easy way to get my feet wet with minimal financial risk. This is the first and only backgammon site I've ever joined. I cleared the bonus more than a month ago, and my money has been on deposit at your site for all this time. I had intended to come back and play some more, but I asked for a withdraw now as I was trying to get money together for christmas. Do people really go to all this trouble just to make $13 from you? Thats the remaining portion of my bonus.

The $13 isn't a huge amount of money, but it is irritating to me that I followed all the terms and conditions posted on your site. If you require the player to play more than the posted number of games for bonus release, then you should say how many you really require. Please reconsider my request

Hello,

As you have stated yourself, "$13 isn't a huge amount of money", therefore I am sure that you can understand our suspicion regarding this hasty withdrawal request. In conclusion, you can cash out your initial $20 deposit or continue and play, thus proving us wrong. In this case we will refund you with the $13 of your bonus money after we will be sufficiently convinced this is indeed the case.

Sincerely,
Steve

Thanks Umberto, I received this email from them today. Was this your doing? Thanks either way

If there are any problems regarding GammonEmpire please let me know and I ll help you.

the response from support is a friggin disgrace. "played the exact amount of games necessary in order to redeem" yea, no sh*t! they make the rule then get mad when its followed. what a joke.
