Hey folks,

as some of you already know: I had some problems with "linked accounts" because i used to play the casino at different places...

How do you handle it when you go on vacation? I live in Switzerland and will now be in vacation in the US (Traveling for 3 weeks, so every 1-2 days a different Motel).

I'm not sure if i will play, but maybe i want to try it once or twice... I have my laptop with me anyways..

So: Do you write the casinos you usually play in advance that you will be away and play from another country? Or is that usually not a problem? Is it better to play the instant casinos in these situations?

Thanks for your feedback about your experiences!

Cheers,
Hoff

PS: The casinos i play often right now are:

- Slots Capital
- 32 Red
- Buzzluck

I just open up the casino website, not the actual casino, go to live chat and tell them what is going on. I've never had a problem at all with any casino.

Keep a copy of the chat so that you will have proof of you conversation. If they say it's going to be a problem, then you will know.

You won't be able to play anything but RTG or NuWorks (Buzzluck) or maybe 3Dice while you're here in the states (no MG, NetEnt, etc.). And yes, I would email the casinos where you might play while vacationing and give them a heads up that you might be playing from another country.

Strangly enough, the worst problem that usually seems to arise when gambling out of country is your eWallet might lock you out if you use it. Best to deposit to a couple of casinos before you leave home.

Good luck.

The problem was not with one of the 3 casinos i mentioned, and it was also not when i was on vacation, but i had it installed in 3-4 different places. I think if i want to gamble on vacation i just write them as you suggested, and then i'll see. Thanks

you wont be able to play at any MG casino as they are IP banned,

i played at maxino while i was on vacation 2weeks ago, it was not allowed to play where i was but they told me since my registred adress is not there so, no problem, (but i dont know about US) but i could not play at MG

you can also play at 3dice.

good luck

Thanks! True... No MG and Co over there... Easy, i think i will then stick to the land based casinos if i come across one... Thanks!

I just hope the casinos will still like me when i don't play for 3 weeks :D:D:D:D

They will like you BETTER, and you will probably find your mailbox full of "manager offers" greater than the regular ones on offer because they will worry that you have found a better place to play for the last 3 weeks.

It really depends... I drop some decent sums at Casinos and rarely get a 'We Miss You' email. I eventually got an email from a Playtech Casino with a bonus or two, then they started threatening to drop my VIP status (which they did:lolup:). The irony is, IF I get the offers, I will return but if they don't bother I play elsewhere...

I suppose I play at a lot of NetEnt Casinos and places where I have lost tons and disappeared, I have never even received as much as 5 free spins...

IP Blocking is rife on MGS - So Hoff... You won't be allowed to play if you are in a restricted territory.

I'd have to agree, contact any casino US facing casino you would like to play at and check with them.

Usually problems arise signing up at new casinos in public places or away from home, not so much playing away, although I've seen one or two get sorted here.

And please do let your bank and credit cards know you will be travelling out of country. Prior to my trip last year I was in my bank to purchase some euros for my trip, my teller made the note on my file. She told me if it was not noted already, an ATM transaction might be declined and I'd be trying to contact my bank from overseas.
