Julie Sidwell was the first player advocate that worked for gambling.com back in the day. The section of gambling.com that dealt with complaints was called "Gambling Grumbles". She worked there for a few years until she left (in 2002 I think), and was hired on at eCOGRA as their first Player Advocate (what Tex Rees does now). Sadly, Julie passed away shortly after being hired.
The Gambling Grumbles that you are referring to was started up by her husband, Herb, who was a really great guy, but it fell by the wayside. I believe he died of cancer as well.
The "new" Gambling Grumbles that people refer to today is a different website. It's run by the original owner of gambling.com (Graeme Levin), and it deals strictly with casino complaints.
As an admin note, please don't hesitate to start new threads instead of bumping up a really old one. Thanks!
