Gambling seems to be a part of the Chinese DNA. I recall way back to when I had just grown hair that I could sit on the local bookies being full of Chinese restaurant workers spending fists full of money.
And the first I learned of match fixing by Chinee mafia was in Snooker matches in the UK.
One point to note is the amount of spare cash many Chinese have in China. Their cost of living is relatively low. Their cost of housing is very small away from their major cities and food costs and consumer items are low.

Nothing new about a passion for gambling in China, but that YouTube channel is weird AF. There is not even one positive video about China. It's like somebody was sitting and picking the worst stuff out of somewhere to put these vids together. Even this video about gambling starts right off the bat with "in the last few years, China's economy has gotten worse." That's complete BS. China has the 2nd strongest economy on Earth.
