I'm totally hooked on the Biography Channel's series "Breaking Vegas". I've only seen a handful of episodes so far, but they just blow my mind!

I was just wondering what other series' were out there that I didn't know about...:D

Win, here's you a few that I know of:

Ahh, I remember American Casino - great show. I need to set that up on my DVR :D

Too bad 'The Casino' was canceled. I don't even remember it :( It couldn't have been much, only 13 episodes, with a fair, or poor rating for each episode listed at tv.com...mostly 'poor'.

As for Double or Nothing - aren't they still in the casting phase for this show? IMHO, you'd have to be totally nuts to risk your total net worth on a spin of the Roulette wheel. How could any psychiatrist even deem someone "sane" enough to participate in that?

I loved that one...watched all of those episodes, yea that's the good thing you can still watch and record those...don't know if you have Windows Media Center computer...but if you do you know you can record any of the shows right to your puter and burn them later...

You might enjoy some of the episodes, I watched most of them when they ran and were purdy good...

To tell you the truth I can't remember if I have actually watched that one or not but I swear I think I have seen one of the episodes...,,,but you are definitely right about being totally nuts to risk everything for one spin...major High Roller there...too rich for my blood...

I'm not sure if you have heard of Louis Theroux. He is a British (although I think he has some American blood in him too) journalist that makes a lot of interesting documentaries for the BBC here in the UK.

Check this one out. Video is a bit grainy at times, but worth the perseverance.

Enjoy. :)

Thanks for the vid cheeky, how's those new babies doing ?

I just had to laugh at this week's Breaking Vegas episode - The Card Count King.

In one scene, Tommy Hyland is pulled from the BJ table for counting cards. As he's leaving, he tells the guy sitting next to him to stand, because the dealer is going to bust, which indeed happens.

The part that had me ROFLMAO was the fact that the dealer has a face card showing, flips over another face card, and proceeds to take a hit!!!

I thought I was seeing things, but fortunately I had it recorded via DVR and was able to pause it the second the dealer turned over the hole card.

I used to have great respect for this series, but they really need to work out DETAILS before they film this stuff. Sheesh!

edit: I was able to take a picture of it from my webcam....enjoy :D (now off to find out where the casino is that this dealer is at.....)
