Full Tilt Poker countered Poker Stars VIP Program improvement with their own improvements. Now players get more points for meeting the Iron Man requirements for more than 12 consecutive months. Players can get up to 600 more Iron Man medals for making Iron Man for three straight years. Full Tilt also added special purchases to their Iron Man Store. The most important additions are a 30 medal "extra day" where players can get up to four extra 200 point days if they fall short in a month and a 150 medal "Continuing Month" where a player that takes a break can continue with the Iron Man promotion without having to start all over.

Full Tilt's Iron Man promotion does not equal Poker Star's VIP Program because Poker Star's does not do rakeback and does not even pay most affiliates rev share. Since Full Tilt is rakeback friendly this is to compliment rakeback for those players lucky enough to have it.
