Just to warn you the group Caddell (White Hat Gaming) isn't bad, but you cannot stop marketing.

IF you click the unsubscribe in the spam it just loops back and opens your inbox in a new browser window.

THE SAME happens if you click their CS e-mail address link.

IF you log-in and try and use the facility to unsubscribe - er it's dead, there isn't one!

Now there are other sites in this group, like Istanbul, Amsterdams, 21Prive and Gday etc. BUT these properties just do not send out the volume of daily spam as FRUITY CASA. I assume that this deliberate prevention of opting-out will carry across all these sites as they are clones.

You can read our detailed review of Fruity Casa here.

Agreed!

However I do not think that it is quite at the Casino Rewards / Lucky 247 level ....YET!

I do get a daily email off each individual Caddell Casino including the ones I've not registered at.

Mostly explaining that days deposit offer, but the occasional one asking me to contact support as they have a 'Special Deal' for me

Seconded that they are not a bad outfit but I feel the volume of emails may have a little (not major) fact that at present they only have a couple of software providers and up against the 'Big Guns' they are trying to gain as much attention as possible.

Yeah. Like the "Final Notice" as the header and tells me this is my final notice to claim that bonus. Only to get the exact same email and offer for the next 6 months.

Or the never ending emails of "play for 1 hour free"

Or "heres your free scratch card"

DIAGF imo

Hello CasinoMeister community :)

I'm Jelena, Affiliate and PR manager of Fruity Casa Casino.

Sorry to read about your unpleasant experience with our mailers!
We've just checked and it's an optout via email, but we're looking into it to change that. It was certainly not on purpose, so apologise again!
Next step is to check if we can do an Unsubscribe link on the server, thanks for your patience!

Fruity regards :)

Hi and Welcome :)

Are you responsible for the Caddell Group of casinos as a whole ?

If so it would be nice to have an active rep here as your casinos are growing in popularity and I know there are a fair few players here who use your site(s)

How about trying for accreditation :)

Unfortunately not, I'm responsible only for Fruity Casa. We are completely independent of all other Caddell - White Hat brands.
Anyways, on your disposal here on CasinoMeister for everything related to Fruity :)

Accreditation was one of the first and main things included into my proposal plan, when I joined Fruity Casa, but we want first to improve some things, before applying for it and going through the hot baptism :D

Well it's bad not to have an 'unsubscribe' spam/marketing opt-out in your accounts. So basically we put up with illegal marketing mails which we have a right to opt out of, until you can sort an unsubscribe facility out? You are OBLIGED to provide an opt-out. The e-mail does NOT work, as you know (and no doubt want).

Hi with any decent even half decent mass mailing software unsubscribe links are kind of there by default this should be no issue at all to get this in place.
Its a few lines of code at most. And should have been there from the start. Mailing lists we have ran in the past had to be canSpam compliant - as per our
servers terms on such things. So im not sure what there is to check ? unsubscribes from a list are usually built in and are the easiest think to set up
it should be a no brainer.

You are absolutely right!

The catchy thing is that all these technical issues still go through Caddell, White Hat company, our platform supplier. They have another 12 brands beside us under that care, so things sometimes might take a while, depending on their fixing priorities...

Still daily spam, no regard to UK laws which mean you should be able to prevent it and opt-out. No account opt-out working still, and of course the DELIBERATE false link in the 'unsubscribe' on the e-mails themselves.

Another complaint I've got to submit to the UKGC.
:mad::mad:

Well fixing issues of Spam should be given a very high priority. The coding required for such a fix is less than a few hours work if that. If I get spam from a known company these days I locate the hosting provider / or network they are part of and complain directly. And urge any one getting spam to do the same. Some country's do not give a damn about spam originating from there networks but some do - especially in the EU and USA.

Depends where the servers are located (to some respect) if they are hosted in the UK you can have them by the bollocks but if not - and they are "offshore" its harder.

We used to host out of California and woe to us when we got complaints of spam! Even though they were our own dedicated servers - they were still racked and supplied with the data usage
from the hosting provider. Which took a stern approach to complaints of spam (and rightly so)

The deliberate link is very bad practice if it is the case. And the complaint should be submitted. No excuse - and a really bad one to say they await the powers that be at Caddell or who ever it is have to find the time
to put this right.

I'm notified today that this issue should have been fixed!

Big apologise for all the issues we caused with our mailers (really didn't intend to piss anyone off) and big thanks for your patience!

Peace! :)

The usual Casa shit came today, as per yesterday and the day before. This time the 'unsubscribe link' didn't appear to be bogus.

I have unsubscribed, because CASA is actually worse than Casino Rewards for spam.

Should I receive more, this matter will be getting reported - officially.
