FOBT's to be cut to a £2 max stake

But it’s ok to have thousands of sites and even bigger stakes available at the touch of a button?

I’m calling the ruling(if it is to be £2) won’t be implemented for at least 6 months, by then several brown envelopes will have changed hands, or numerous appeals will occur to prolong the matter even further.

Anyhow, there are easily ways around the £2 cap, that could enable them to still allow bigger bets. I’m sure such avenues are already being explored.

@PMKFRUITPRO The focus will eventually switch to online casinos for sure. Perhaps if we all start filming ourselves smashing up our computers and threatening our neighbours with violence after heavy losses that might speed up the process.

But they may also mitigate the max bet rule by using SOW to tailor what is acceptable for an individual based on their circumstances. Its not inconceivable.

Once again the freedom of choice for people is taken away, let's see how happy people are when the campaigners start on online casinos and that £3.60 stakeon Rhino or £4.00 stake on Bonanza is removed because we all know when campaigners win one battle they don't just pack up and go they move on to the next thing and the next thing will be "OMG people can press a button on their mobiles and gamble all their money we can't have that".

So everyone crowing and applauding this decision on here be aware of what you are praising.

If I want to go into a bookies and play a high stake that is my business we are heading down a very slippery slope in this country with continual banning of things that the "experts" consider bad for us.
