A lot of developers have a line into Meagreways now, and people are beginning to carp on about the mechanic. I suppose when you get minnows like Reel Time getting hold of the formula it's inevitable, I reckon CapeCod gaming will have it next. It's a load of Jackson Pollocks really.

I'm all for a bit of High Variance larks but they surely take the p*ss. Masters of 'amazingly inventive ways to not not make symbols align' should be their official moniker

This game has been on FOBTS for ever and day. Apart from turn it into megaways it looks like they have done sod all with it. Imo they could of done quite a bit instead of just hurling it out there onto the treadmill.

Doubt I will play it much if at all. Can’t be doing with the fisherman turning up when no fish are present and vice versa. Which is one of its main traits.

Funny how the original always was a shite slot. Then a few streamers started to play it and is was the bomb! No potential at all, but maybe the megaways version can produce a 1000x+. Pretty sure the old one didn`t do that.

They've got the non-Megaways version of this on the £500 jackpot machines that we have in all the pubs here. It's well shit and I generally avoid it.

Yes we have UK style AWPs over here as well (which are indeed £1 max stake and £100 jackpot), but £500 jackpot UK 'Category B3' machines are also legal in pubs/arcades here, and they've done very well over the years as people understand that they're random and that they have a better chance of winning on them than they do the compensated AWPs. (Plus of course, AWPs are usually set to around 76% RTP, and the random games are usually on 90-94%.)

I was playing this in demo mode...like clockwork every 50-100 spins I hit 3/4 scatters with each bonus paying 50-100x. Decided to deposit and have a real go...500 spins later I finally get 3 scatters for 2X bonus. Went back to demo mode, 20 spins 4 scatters and another 50x bonus. A decent reminder never to play these games.

I've hit 50x in the bonus, but that was one bonus out of around 10 which the rest all paid under 10x.

Pretty terrible game tbh, good idea, not very well executed.
