Finally I got double bonus

Yeah, of course i was majorly bummed both those times too, and i also kind of feel it should always pay a certain threshold. Very few slots have such a mechanism though.

The only thing i can think of where it would be easiest to implement, is an initial pay-out for triggering the bonus, nothing too big to mess with the general RTP....

Maybe 100x or so, for the trigger, would be enough to ease the pain for a non-paying superbonus? @sapit222 i think 500x would cut into the RTP too much, but i'm definitely no expert :D

Ive tried Tombstone a bit but never won anything at all.

I used to play Deadwood a lot though and managed to get the superbonus 2-3 times, but it took a few thousand (2-5000?) spins.
If i remember correctly i got around x700-800 on all of them, so was nice.
It would be really depressing if i got under x100... :puke:

Very bad design when the "turbo bonus" with 5 bonus symbols gives that bad x back. :(
Should be a rule that makes it a min x win of around x500 atleast.

You have to remember that you can buy these bonuses. If the minimum payout was 500x, the buy cost should far exceed that, else buying bonuses would be practically risk free. That's why the super bonuses can go mad, but often return the cost amount or less.

Of course sucks a lot for players who just play the game normally and then the miracle occurs and they finally get a super bonus only for it to return fuck all.

I play nolimits a lot and I've only ever gotten the super bonus three times.. Twice from Punk Rocker and once from True Grit Redemption. They paid 500x, 50x and 10x respectively. The 50x one hurt, but the 10x on True Grit Redemption really hurt man..

You can't buy Tombstone though (unless they changed somethign recently), and most of the super bonuses do actually cost quite a bit of x and some also has some sort of minimum win protection (looking at fire in the hole super bonus).

You have to think of buying a bonus as buying a very expensive spin. Only real difference is that you will get something back.
If you have a slot paying 96% then your bonus buy of, say 100x, has to have a fairly night number of bonuses which only pay 30-60x in order to pay those bonuses which go for 1000’s x.

You can’t really think in terms of 500x as that is in effect your stake. It’s 1x. You the have a chance of something like winning 20x your stake but more often than not will only win 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 of your stake.

It’s somewhat like a very expensive roulette wheel. When you see someone covering the table on roulette there will always likely be one or two numbers which will pay big as they put more of their money on them. Others will win small, lose small or even lose big if they haven’t covered a number or only put small amount on it.

By going for bonus buys you effectively eliminate the properly big win (they’ll almost never be more than 50-100x your stake) for more entertainment.
