As a US resident, we get the short end of the stick when it comes to online gambling, UNLESS, you happen to live in (or are visiting) the state of New Jersey!

Luckily for me, I just recently moved to NJ a few months ago and get to enjoy this benefit! My personal experiences with Borgata and Caesar's have been positive ones. The withdrawal process is SO EASY compared to the casinos that are overseas because there is no verification process where you have to send in paperwork to verify your identity. That part is done in the beginning when you sign up for your account simply by verifying your social security number. I've requested withdrawals with both casinos and they conveniently deposit the funds into your checking/savings account within a couple of business days of the request being made.

The poker rooms are great, especially with the casinos that offer daily freerolls. None of the no-deposit sign-up bonuses have a max cash-out limit and the wagering requirements are more than reasonable.

If you're a US resident and live in NJ, I highly recommend one of the Atlantic City online casinos. Or, if you happen to be visiting NJ (perhaps for Superbowl next month), you should sign up while you're here and give it a shot! Borgata, BetFair, Caesars, PartyPoker NJ (part of Borgata), WSOP, Poker888 and Ultimate Casino all have no deposit sign-up bonuses!

Phew, finally, someone else in NJ who is playing on-line and a CM member. Glad to know ya!

We have been having a thread going for a while in another section of the forum and I thought I was the only one playing at these new places.

Just a note for you, CM recently got their first (I believe) rep. from one of the NJ casinos, UltimateJ, representing the only site that is a 100% US product. Glad to have you, see you around the forums!

Are you saying that if I live in another state say NY , I can go to NJ AND PLAY THERE ONLINE? If so, what documentation will I need? thanks

Yep! That is correct! As long as you are physically in NJ, you are allowed to play. Once you leave the jurisdiction; however, you will not be able to make any wagers but you can request withdrawals. They track your location either with your cell phone or wi-fi connection so they know whether or not you're in NJ.
As far as documents, you don't need any. Borgata may ask for a utility bill if they cannot verify your identity using your social but I think that is rare. Other than that, all you need is a bank account where your funds can be deposited or you can choose to have a check mailed. You can also go to the actual casino to pick up your winnings in person. Borgata has an option for a prepaid Borgata card as well which you can use for deposits/withdrawals.

I know it's sad I know this much about this stuff lol. Hope that helps!

awesome! Glad to find another Jersey-an here! :) I frequently play poker on BetFair and WSOP so maybe I'll see you at the tables!

Always read the T & C's

A note for everyone playing in NJ or Nevada. Read the T & C's carefully for each site as they do have the right to request several documents just like offshore sites if they want too.

I don't want everyone thinking just because you provide a SSN you're good to go without ever being asked for additional doc's..
