It's early in the morning and I've not had my second cup of java, so bear with me as I do a stream of thought rambling here......
The FBI is the lapdog of the DOJ... we've seen with with NETeller fiasco, and the other kidnappings (I'm sorry, I can't call it anything else, when people are held incarcerated and then released after coughing up money and info, LOL), the BetonSports mess, etc. Also... whenever the DOJ goes after an online casino/sportsbook, they always use a STATE doj/AG to file charges, send out warrants, yada yada...
The person who was visited by FBI (if true) was playing illegally in HIS STATE where it IS illegal to play online... and Full Tilt lets him play.. pays him, takes his deposits, etc. In my way of thinking, this provides (somewhat) legitimate grounds for going after the poker room. The player's name/address, etc., would have been easily pulled from a shut down processor... or a processor that has been taken over as a DOJ or FBI undercover operation/sting.
Do I think they're after the player? Not at this stage. They'd love to extort a bazillion dollars from FullTilt (just like they did NETeller, Party, etc.) and push them (and all the poker sites) out of the US market.
(I also think the FBI and DOJ and should be paying more attention to real CRIMES and leaving Joe Schmoe and his poker playing alone.)
That's Mousey's two cents...
