Poll: Who has the best slot games?

What are your favorite slot games? To many to put in a poll, so please post about your favorite slots.

I thought the meisters would be the best place to get some real information from real players, since it's a popular casino forum.

Enquiring minds want to know!

I'm still fond of Microgaming Viper's Thunderstruck myself. :D

Not many choices, what about other softwares?
Anyway, for game play it has to be MG.
Hard to pick a favorite as they all suck at the moment :(
I guess Tomb Raider & Harveys.
And Crypto's Mr.Rich cos I hit a nice bonus on it Friday! ;)

Sorry, I picked the top 4, because I'm more familiar with those.

If anyone's favorite slots aren't on the software I listed, please feel free to list those.

For sheer entertainment value, I choose MicroGaming.

For winning... nothing, nowhere, nohow, noway, for me right now.

However, the Reel Series Slots at RTG, and the new multiline Boss Media slots, and recent upstarts like Slots24 and Paradise8 have gotten the idea and are making a fairly good run at making entertaining slots.

My one complaint about MG slots (other than the fact that players don't have control over what or how many to download) is that most of their new slots are only previous releases 'reskinned'. Golden Goose was new and different (though I never developed an affection for the goose --which looked like a duck-- that shat out an egg once too often and I've never played it since). I guess there's only a couple of new games that have come out since Ladies Nite, etc. that I play more than occasionally. I'd prefer to have new releases less often if it could mean the slots were truly 'new and different'.

Forgive me for editing the poll... LOL... but Odds On no longer exists, and Cryptologic/Wagerlogic was missing.

I think this poll is a good idea. But at the moment it's very one-sided... LOL...

I generally won't toss too much money at slots these days (thanks to "Zoozie's" research and of course... bad luck), but...

I'd have to think that MG is GOD of slots at the moment (as the poll would be indicating). That doesn't mean that the other software providers aren't making improvements in that area though.

- I've always been a fan of "Tomb Raider", even if it wasn't always a fan of mine. Ditto on "Thunderstruck". I've never been a big fan of "SpringBreak", although it's probably given me the best return of all the MG slots (which basically equates to breaking even  ).

- I happen to like "Chinese Kitchen" as well as "Vacation Station" over at PlayTech. Out of the newer slots that were introduced recently, I think that "Dr. Lovemore" is best of the bunch. In fact, I'd rank it in my Top-5 favorite slots to play, but at a $2 minimum... OUCH!!! I can't overlook that.

- At RTG, I've always loved "Aztec Treasure", although I generally avoid RTG's.

- At Cryptologic, "The HULK" is my favorite from their MARVEL series. And BEJEWELED is a "Top-3" of mine.

:eek2: the Mousey must have been hibernating... What are English Harbour and All Poker, etc. now if not Odds On?

MG offers so much choices, graphic is nice and sound effects too.
Cashville, What on Earth, Loaded are the best in my opinion, for the bonus round. I am little bit bored of the trio Thunderstruck-Spring Break-Ladies night.
If I could win more often on MG I would play only there.:)

Playtech is not bad at all (apart from Cinerama:eek: ), especially those free-spins slots and Queen of Pyramid, because of the unicorns feature, I love it!

RTG, quite ok Cleopatra slot and Mister Money.

Thanks! I meant to say Cryptologic...:D

I have to with Microgaming. My favorites include Harveys and SpringBreak. I also like Isis even though I have only had moderate returns on this slot.

Slots

I really only play MG slots. I am not too fond of the Goose either. I like the free spin slots, but I am not keen on the long dead spells where it can take 500 spins to see the bonus and then it's crap. This could be improved by introducing the feature in Reel Strike, where losing free spins still win 2/3 of the original spin stake with the multiplier awarded. This would mean an end to very poor results by ensuring that there was always a half decent return.

This should be tried in the next release, free spins can be retriggered, but a min of 2/3 of stake times the multiplier would be won each spin. The more free spins the better (chances of retrigger better). If they were less frequent, and reel wins were not always dire that would be OK. Isis is going there with a 6x multiplier on 20 to 30 spins with retrigger allowed. If a min win per spin was given, there would not be that "screenshot that sucked" of 430 coins over 20x6 (a joke surely!!!). I find Isis takes ages to give the 3 birds, and it must be enraging to get a mere 430 coins back. There is at least the opportunity to clean up big time with all 5 birds in the bonus round, probably more chance of winning a progressive on King Cashalot though.

So far, the results of this poll are slightly in favor of one particular provider... LOL...

Just what is it that makes MG's slot so much more popular than the other providers? And, for Soflat, so far behind the B&M providers :)

absolute FAVORITE slot is the daimond mine one, where in the bonus stage you get to choose mines to go into to get bonus credits.. but once a mine collapses on you, it ends. that's definetaly my weak point.

overall, I guess MG because they pay out withdrawals in a decent amount of time.

1/ Cashville at Microgaming (I like the bonus games, the animation of the big symbols and all the look'n'feel of this exceptional slot).
I didn't list all the MG slots I like as there is a lot, everybody knows them and because I wanted to give credit to less famous slots but from all MG slots, Cashville is my favourite one.
I disgress but I don't understand why slots like Cashville, Loaded, Harvey's, kathmandu, etc..don't appear in the flash version of the software when more recent games such as Stallionaire, Lucky Bastard, Chav'in (on the UK MG casinos), ect...do...It looks like the new video slots aren't included when some reel slots are, but not all as Moonshine for example doesn't appear.
I also don't understand why MG made their big symbols animated when winning on Cashville but they've never done that again on the newest slots (except scatters, bonuses and wilds).

2/ Aladdin' lamp (I love the cartoon animated symbols) and Las Vegas Dreams (the bonus round game is very nice) on Jackpotjoy.

3/LibertyBell (I like the hold feature, the graphics and the mechanical sound of the reels...it looks old), Jules Verne (I like the intro, the graphics and the free spins game), Las Vegas Show (I like the animations and the bonus feature) and Paris slots (it's my city) at Casino Solera (B3W).

4/ Cluedo slot at VirginGames (WagerWorks)...the bonus game feature is so brilliant and the music theme is huge (the bigger you win the longer and nicer is the melody played from the same theme...the best sound feature I've ever heard on a slot and every single symbol have his animation).

5/ Finaly there is an other one I like from Wagerworks, it's the Price is Right Spin & Win Fruity slot...it's magic, I like the intro, the music from The Price is Right TV game, the free spins game, the bonus game (rolling the dice to play around the reels), the automatic hold feature, the nudge feature, etc...

I don't like CrapVile - after it 'stole' $50 off me last time I played it :(

But I have to agree about those WagerWorks slots - my two favorites there too!
Just a shame the Cluedo bonus round does not have potentially higher wins..
But 5 characters pays quite well, Col. Mustard x500 for example...

I was evaluating a Wagerworks casino for the first time today (Virgin). Must say I like the games like Monopoly and Cluedo (though the features I hit didnt pay much more than 10x tops - may just have been unlucky). But i agree they are entertaining.

What i liked was the way they display the expected payout percentages for every game (incl. slots) in the back end of the paytables. Shame all casino software doesn't do that. Disappointing choice of video pokers, but a very nice overall experience I must say. Easy to register for free play also. Though i did keep getting the odd weird error about how i was playing in two windows at the same time, when i wasn't.

But yeah. I like.

I knew when I made this poll that Microgamming would win by a landslide, although I didn't expect such a huge landslide!

Spearmaster's question is a good one - What is it that makes MG's slots so much more popular?

My guess is two things: variation on the bonus features and regularity of "new" games that result in a wide cross-section of appeal. That said, for me, I only generally play MG casinos (due in large to operational factors) so I guess it's largely a familiarity thing for me.

I don't understant why HardRockCasino left WagerWorks for Playtech...it's true that WW doesn't have as many games as PT, that their first games look so poor and that they release something like 2 or 3 games per year :eek2: but I want to believe that they have a big future in this industry (they have been bought by IGT) because as Simmo said, they are very transparent about their payout percentages and they have a very responsible politic about gambling addiction.
They are one of the few UK gaming companies accredited by Gamcare:
