Exclusive CM Tournament @ Slotty Vegas

Hey all,

As some of you may have noticed, we’ve just launched tournaments on Slotty Vegas casino! *wild applause*

And what better way to see them in than by holding our very own CM exclusive tournament?

Here’s what I had in mind:

Type: RTP
Race
Scoring: Best RTP
over 20 consecutive rounds
Game: Motorhead (Desktop)
Min Rounds: 750
Min Bet: €0.40 or currency equivalent
Race Start: 14:00CET Thursday 22nd September
Race End: 14:00CET Friday 30th September
Players: CM
Members only
Participants: Minimum 20, Maximum 50.

Please note the tournament is for the Desktop version of the game. To take part, log in on desktop, hit JOIN in the left tournament panel, and start playing Motorhead.
Prizes:

1st: €500 cash
2nd: €250 cash :cheerleader:
3rd: €100 cash :yahoo:

4th: 100 Free spins
5th: 100 Free spins
6th: 100 Free spins
7th: 75 Free spins
8th: 50 Free spins
9th: 40 Free spins
10th: 30 Free spins

To state the obvious - all winnings are yours to keep, and gameplay will be supercharged as per usual!

We need a minimum of 20 entries to kick this off, and we wont allow more than 50 participants into the race, so odds on a prize are certainly good.

To sign up to the tournament, simply send a private message to either CM_BETAT or BETAT with your registered email and you’ll be added to the entry list which will be updated on this thread.

The tournament will be held on the new headlining game MOTORHEAD, which launches on the 22nd September!

So what do you say all, who’s in?

Cheers,
Karl

1000 rounds on a game I have yet to play - it better be a bloody good game!

only -

you clearly earn too much! :p

At minimum bet thats only €300 wagered over 8 days ;)

and I just popped over to there and have a little play and lost 2 deposits of £20 so technically the tourney has already cost me £40 lol

True true!!! and if guns and roses is anything to go by when it was first released it was a gave a lot of play on just one deposit, and a good few withdrawals!

Strong emphasise the word wagered there :D... at standard theoretical RTP the requirement of €300 wagered on slots is not considered high, from my experience :)

A little suggestion: If possible please implement a special page on your website for the tournaments.
I find it quite important and interesting to see the results of ended tournaments too. I don't think it's possible to see those with the current design.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, a dedicated page is under development. Currently, leaderboards are available for 24 hours after a tournament ends, however this is adjustable and we will leave the results of the CM tournament for 48 hours.

How can I see the results of yesterdays Gonzo's Quest (high) tournament?

Without a fixed number of rounds, or a maximum number of rounds.

The tournament will most likely, be ruined for most player, by the sad people who 'buy' the top prizes (even if it costs them more than the prize it's self)

What is sad with people that enjoy playing tournaments and are willing to make more spins than others to be successful?

There's nothing wrong with them making more spins than others, so long as they make a profit at the end of it.

But if those people are so desperate to win, they spend more than the prize is actually worth, just so that they do win, and no one else comes close.
Then they aren't really 'successful', and they aren't really winners - The real winners are those players who make a profit from entering.

I prefer to compete on a level playing field

Sure, SV could do that. But those that make more spins are also responsible for the pretty sizeable prize pot they have here. If everybody is limited to 1000 spins for example the 1st prize might be €100 instead of €500.

It's a pity that many perceive 1000 spins on €0.30 spins (if this is going to be a valid bet-value) as too much of an obstacle or find other reasons not to compete because it's really serious money they are giving away for us on CM. Sure they do this partly to encourage some newer members to sign up there and play but still not only the prize-money but also the time they sacrifice for us is commendable.

Min Bet: €0.30 or currency equivalent. So will the prizes be 'currency equivalent', ie £500 £250 £100 ???

I'm sure they've already done their sums, to come up with a minimum of 20 participant at a minimum of 1000 spins@€0.30 to make the break-even point/acceptable loss on the promotion.

Those people who 'buy' first prize, aren't doing the casino any favours.. far from it. They just deter more people from participating, when the best they can hope for is a few free spins. because some players are willing to spend whatever it takes to get first place.

Participation in CM/Betat competitions seems to have got less and less each time, and I'm sure this has a lot to do with it.

I've participated on tournaments where it's highest RTP over 20 spins. They don't favour the biggest spenders, or sometimes the luckiest single spin. Of course if you continue playing past the minimum, you may hit a better 20 rounds.

I'd be there in a heartbeat if I could play the game, even with a penalty I personally end up paying due to my deposit method.

I love these guys, and if you are going to play a new game anyway, why not try for something a little extra.

I must agree that they might think about the minimum bet for it. I also know that for people in other currencies, a .30 euro bet might mean a .45 cent bet for an Australian (do they still get NetEnt?), and with a 20 cent denomination might mean 60 cents.

Slotty, pick a game I can play next time and I will be there with bells on. Even for an extra 2.9% to deposit to ecopayz first.

Good luck to those who participate. Thank you Slotty for giving us CMers a little extra.

Guns and Roses and Jimi Hendrix are both good games, Motorhead looks fun too.

Nice one for us CM'ers  :D

Wagering 300 (1000x0.30) to get a chance at a 500$ top prize is actually a very low requirement. E.g. at 96% RTP, 20 players that is 6000 in wagering --> 4% = 240$/EUR/GBP theoretical profit for Slotty. At the max of 50 players that is 15K in wagering or 600$/EUR/GBP theoretical profit.

And since it is limited to just 50 players you stand a 1:5 chance to pick up a prize, the lowest being 6$ worth of Free Spins. If this slot is in the same low variance league as Gn'R or JH then nobody will run the risk to lose very much for doing 1000 spins, hence even one of the lower prizes is worth going for.

The tournament actually is a playing level field for low and high rollers alike since it is about achieving the best RTP over 20 spins and not who is doing most spins or getting the highest overall score. Doing 5000 or 10000 spins will not guarantee a player a better position as it usually does.

I suppose it will be the same like with their Summer Games promo --> currency equivalent for bet sizes and prizes.

I'm in, PM sent Karl. :D

missed these exclusive promo from betat ...

Pm sent Karl

You haven't missed it, only starts tomorrow. :D

But i know what you mean, i too saw it only when the thread got bumped up.

That is why i suggested as an improvement for the CM site to have a tab the top with the CM Exclusive Promo's and maybe a small sign across it when a new one has been added.

Ok Im up to speed now..

So firstly, it looks like €0.30 may not be possible. If this is the case we will raise the minimum bet to €0.40 and cut the rounds from 1000 to 750.

All bets and prizes will be currency equivalent, so please check your exchange rate to make sure your bets would be sufficient to qualify.

Brianmon, Im afraid i do not agree with you regarding player strategies of "buying the prizes at a loss". If we were to lower the spin requirement, or rely on capped spins, then we will effectively be launching tournaments at guaranteed loss every time. With the maths applied, if we max out the tournament with players and everyone plays the minimum requirement, we will theoretically barely recoup the first prize. If we had to force the cap on rounds, then we would need to drastically reduce the prizes on offer to compensate, which we have no interest in doing.

Its a new game too, which most are looking forward to trying, and with there being no buy-in, yet Supercharged wins, and all gameplay winnings kept by the players, as well as the chance to win extra prizes on top, i think it makes a pretty good case to take part in the tournament.

All, thanks for the great response.

Cheers,
Karl

Should Canada be on that list? I don't have NetEnt games at Slotty anymore.

Hi bowki,

Always launch the tournament from the tournaments section in order to see the leaderboard.

With regard to timeouts, are you getting a "your internet connection is slow" error? Ive got the same and have raised it with Netent as it seems to be happening across the board on the game.

I am impressed how well the game is playing across all of the casino's I've visited today considering the amount of traffic it must be getting. I was expecting to be put off by very poor or none existent connections.
