Who is entercasino?

Got an email from them. It looked kinda cool, but I wanted to research them first.

Hit up google, nothing really about it. Nothing bad either: googled "entercasino blacklist" "entercasino problems" and stuff like that.

So...I thought I'd come here, since this place came highly recommended. What do any of y'all know about entercasino?

Thanks for the help guys. :notworthy

Entercasino:
Link Removed ( Old/Invalid)

It's part of the "Empire Online Group" (Playtech).

You can check out their sister sites and get a good feel for what you might be in for - good or bad.

Thanks. I never heard of them before. :notworthy

In affiliate circles empire is better known as Tradal, of recent fame because they sold poker and casino players (yep, players were sold) to Party Gaming without allowing affiliates to be mapped over.

This resulted in hundreds of people being cheated out of their earnings.

It makes you wonder if this isn't similar to the whole 32Vegas scenario ... choose a name that's eerily close to an already established and very reputable online casino and hope to cash in on people who may make a typo.

I also recently received a mail for "wingows" casino.

I remember years ago, it was a Casino-on-net casino.

Looks like the domain changed hands - probably lapsed and someone at Empire picked it up.

Warning: Subjective criticism follows.

Entercasino. What a stupid name.

So from what I can tell, it's kind of a brand new site, even though the domain has been up since 1996 or something like that?

Thanks a whole bunch for the help, guys. I appreciate it.

Seems like they (Empire) are marketing CON too.

"The Company also has arrangements to market Casino-On-Net (part of 888.com, one of the most established online casino websites)."

Yep. This is a stupid name. Many like to akin their products to well established brand names with the inter-prefix such as Intercasino or Inter Milan. Caution though as it doesnt always work. During my schooldays, my brother showed me a newsletter from his college and I glanced thru an article which invited students from different courses to participate in a number of competitions. The title was, you guessed it, inter-course competition. It was a pity I was not eligible to join.

it didnt change hands - it was owned by tradal(empire) then and now. since empire is now a playtech licensee they changed entercasino from a casino-on-net skin to a new playtech casino

I haven't played at "stupid name" casino, but I did notice this morning that gonegambling is now promoting them. Of course, GG would promote Elvis paintings on velvet if they thought there was a nickel in it. (please don't hurt me, GreedyGirl!)

Greedygirl is no longer w/Gonegambling.com, but I can say from experience that Gonegambling absouletly backs up what it promotes. I have been the recipient of Gonegambling's help and I really feel like they back up what they promote.

I will most certianly agree that entercasino is definitely at best a stupid name.

Nonetheless, I'd like to know why you think that the site/owner promotes less than savory casinos? Seems to me that they are the first to drop those who don't live up to what they promise, even if it doesn't affect site members.

You also kind of infer that Gonegambling is some sort of shady outfit judging from what they promote. Why do you think this?? If you are going to tarnish a site and someone's living, it seems to me that you should at least explain where you're coming from. You mentioned that you'd not like for Greedygirl to address you, but you should know that she would only do so were you to be wrong in your assessment and thus hurt the site and the families that depend on it.

I am in no way trying to give you a hard time, just trying to understand. I'd love to hear your views.

Sincerely,

Kevin

I can't think of a finer example of a person stating something as fact that has no merit whatsoever.

I took over Greedygirl's job at GoneGambling and can tell anyone who cares to read the truth, GoneGambling has never and will never accept advertising from any brand without a tremendous amount of research. There have been a couple of mistakes in the past and there probably will be in the future. Those mistakes have been quickly taken care of when a casino failed to live up to the expectations towards GoneGambling and the membership. More brands are denied than accepted for advertising with our site because of past or present persistent problems.

Throwing mud and making false statements in an attempt to harm any site actually reflects badly on the forums when a person uses them for that purpose. Of course, creating their "own truth" is more entertaing ,I suppose ,even if it is just a waste of time reading it.

What I find amazing is how many GoneGambling members are on this forum and only one person had the courage to stand up and refute this slur against GoneGambling.

they enthusiastically promote Casino Rewards Group, Mansion & Slotland. Do a search here for any of those and I'm sure you'll see they're candidates for the less-than-savory hall of shame.

I said "please don't hurt me, GreedyGirl!" which I thought made it clear that I was chiding her. The truth is that I really do want GreedyGirl to hurt me.

I'm a member at GoneGambling and I enjoy their site. MOST of the outfits they promote are great places to gamble IMHO. Still, big advertising bucks have clearly clouded their judgement in a few instances so I'm not going to drink the kool-aid that Big John is passing out. (or at least I'll wait 5 minutes after you drink it)

Fair enough, but I know of no GG member who has EVER been affected by what you have read here or elsewhere, so my feeling is that there is value in being a member both here as well as with GG.

I hope that were you to have personally been affected by these particular groups and you have signed up with them through Gonegambling that you would have allowed John to have cleared up whatever problems that you had with the casino.

I don't usually refer to situations that I have no personal knowledge of, but I know that many do. I just know that I have signed up with many casinos over the years through Gonegambling as well as Casinomeister, and any trouble that I have had (almost never and always minor) has been cleared up without any need to tarnish anyones reputation.

I just am greatful that Bryan does what he does and John does the same. Both sites give me confidence that if I do what's right that they will back me up in the event that things don't go as planned. I have found that they almost always do and that both sites back up what they promote. That's all.

One would certainly need to wear blinders to defend the aforementioned casinos. Certainly there are many GG members affected.

I don't think you're doing justice to CM as he has dropped all three of these operators from his accredited list because they couldn't meet his standards.

It sounds to me like you're taking this personally, Kevin. I'm not saying GoneGambling is a bad site. On the contrary, I'd say GG is one of the better portals out there. (though far below KasinoKing) I am saying that their standards are a bit lax. They definately place the bar a lot lower than the meister when it comes to whom they will promote.

Hopefully CM can at least sign GreedyGirl to a 10-day contract now that she's a free agent.

I dont understand. Do you mean that as long as Gonegambling can resolve all issues with regard to players signed thru their site, the promotion of the casinos in question is justified? There should be more to it because if a casino has questionable ethics, a reliable portal should refrain from promoting it although it may resolve each and every issue with regard to the players that signed through this portal. How about the rest of the players that are screwed?
