Dr.bet are they Scam? my experience from UK

For anyone else wondering about this site, I just had email withdrawal from last night processed and it’s in bank now

Casinomeister reviews UK licensed casinos - don't be a fool and get ripped off by the Rogues!
They were ok, until they stalled paying me (dunno how that even sits now) based on needing to supply a bank card.

Supplied it, it's now expired (it wouldn't have been if asked for it before now), and keep on coming back saying it's out of date, supply a new one. But the new ones card number is different to one it's replaced. Now saying it's not the same card and the circle of life continues.

Sweet Baby Jesus and this is their reply: Grade A bullshit

David
I kindly ask you to contact your bank and ask them to provide you with a confirmation letter that this card belongs to you. Or it can be a bank statement where we can see your full name, date, and the requisites of this card.

Then proceeds to tell me they can't help as they don't check the cards?

Fairly common that, unfortunately. Not specifically with this casino; your bank will write a letter confirming your card history on request. They may charge you for it though.

Not that common to be honest, given my first ever encounter with such in 10yrs.

Baffling how they have on their side card ending 1234, you supply it (even though it's been used for over a year) and they go no. Still BS IMO.

Anyway, managed to get it through after a rather long winded email so Numpties 1-9 were saved by the less Numpty number 10 who actually understood what i was saying.

I wasn't for phoning the bank for it, let along paying for the privilege

Aye, when I last needed one, my local branch wrote it for free. Luckily I worked next door to the branch at the time, otherwise it would’ve been a tremendous hassle.

This site seems good, pays out quickly, but I can’t shake that something about it doesn’t feel quite right. I think it’s the uniquely broken English, which makes it feel like an unlicensed site.

Still confused why most UK sites never ask for it, yet these places insist on it.

Might kinda understand (though not really), if i had no copies of the card, but i did so getting a letter from the bank would not prove anything more than, er, the copy i had - very weird, might have been a language barrier as pretty sure the first set of guys didn't have a clue what i was saying.

Yeah, it does seem a weird site; previous W/D all paid fine but it does have a look of a Walter White Car Wash set up about it.

Russian mafia is my hunch

I've been playing there a lot recently and have to say had no issues at all. Their support are always available and withdrawals processed really quickly. Games on the top RTPs, makes a difference to my eternal losing streak at Videoslots. The grammar is terrible on the website true. Has anyone figured out who is behind the whole setup?

Just to add I had a quick read on trust pilot to see what others said out of curiosity. Seems there is a barrage of 1 star reviews that is mostly players who have lost money and then blame the casino being rigged etc, few verification issues, then some glowing 5 star reviews that all seem a bit too positive, with odd English to boot. However I trust what people say here and most in this thread I started ages ago seem to have had a good experience!

I wouldn’t bother with trust pilot tbh

I agree. The line up of slots is quite light, too. A fairly small selection from most providers.

Dr.bet still have autoplay enabled for some UK facing Pariplay games.

And their real-time win/loss display, on some games, shows the max win and the RTP as well as the win/loss (kudos for that).

The site is still quite weird, and no new games have been added for eons.
