There are videos of her last interview with Couric and IMO Palin is totally clueless when it comes to knowing anything important and it's very sad. You can google the interview to check out what she said regarding the $700b bailout and how it's about healthcare.

That right there speaks volumes when the highly respected and nationally syndicated conservative columnist Kathleen Parker withdrew her support for Palin...Parker said Palin isn't prepared to be vice president or president, and said Palin should withdraw as John McCain's running mate, there are going to be more and more conservatives doing the same thing after they see how bad she fumbles the debate with Joe Biden later in the week !!
What an embarrassment this interview with CBS News anchor Katie Couric must have been for the conservatives. Palin fumbled her answers to questions that a fifth grader could have answered better...but should we really expect much better from someone that says 44 times in interviews that she "stopped the bridge to nowhere" and then later it is discovered that she did in fact originally accept the funds for it and later changed her mind but still yet spent 8 million dollars per mile on the "road to nowhere" that leads out to where the "bridge to nowhere" was to have supposedly been built....why is it so damn hard to get an honest answer out of these politicians...

If the others here who are so adamant about voting for McCain/Palin still want to vote for this "bimbo" after watching that interview with Couric well all I can say to that is God, help us all, because this country will be going to hell in a handbag faster than Palin can make up some other bullshit answer to a question...jeezus christ...unfreaking real...

Biden will embarass her from an experience and knowledge standpoint just like McCain obviously did to Obama in the first debate. All Obama could do was say "I agree" after McCain answered certain questions about Russia and the Baltics. But this should be expected given McCain's number of years in office.
Regardless of Biden's success in the debate, don't be surprised when he drops out and Hillary steps in.

If you make less than $50,000 a year(single) Obama's tax plan MAY help you out tax wise temporarily. But his other PLANS will end up costing all taxpayers in the long run.
I would have liked to keep both these canidates out of the White House. But the Sheeple(citizens who don't educate themselves to the facts and listen to the nonsence the media reports) dismissed the few Candidates who have been trying for years to restore our Constitution, restore power to the States(which also would empower citizens); keep the U.S. out of other Countries business and keep the jobs in the U.S. by tax breaks on U.S. manufacturing and businesses and increased tax on imports.
Also, in my opinion Obama has no clue what MIDDLE-CLASS means. Even earning $100,000/year; once you pay income tax, rent or mortgage, electric, gas, phone, car payment, medical care, educational costs for your children and buy groceries THERE IS NOTHING LEFT for savings. Get real, adding deductions and credits in this tax system is alot more beneficial.

Giving businesses tax cuts is good for the economy and job market. Increasing taxes on small businesses and large corporations results in increased consumer costs and decrease in jobs and the benefits employers can provide their employees. Business is key to all of us living the good life here in the U.S. Put them out of business and we are in big trouble. Take away their deduction for donations and contributions to the needy, for medical research and the like and the Government and taxpayers will have to bear the burden.
The middle-class is working their ass off to pay for Governments overspending and aid other Countries(while not first taking care of our own poor and providing our children with quality post-high school education).
My defination of Middle-class is a combined income of $100.000 to $200.000
net. And lets face it the tax rate is virtually the same if you are single or a family of 3+. (single you pay more but then you don't have the costs families do) So, defining middle class is hard.A family of 4 can find it hard to make ends meet on $200.000 given the rising cost of car and health insurance , college costs, and the like. So where in Obamas plan does the COST of living come in.
He appears to want those earning more to pay for those earning less. How is that fair.We all have the same educational opportunies and these days these days middle class has to pay for their kids college costs while Low income families potentially get grants from the Government. Middle class may have to work two jobs to pay college costs. Why should someone pay a higher tax rate because they earn more. That is plain unfair and discriminatory in my view.

You have mis-understood McCains health insurance tax break there footdr, our health insurance benefits currently are held out of our paycheck now Before Taxes but with McCains idea they will start being taxed on your paycheck and then you will only get a $5K tax break when you file on April 15th...so if your family now is currently like mine and you are paying more than the benchmark of 5K a year for health insurance then under McCains plan you will start paying taxes on the amount over 5K whereas currently right now this costs us no taxes at all for any amount of insurance we are having to carry...

MCCAINS'S HEALTH CREDIT BETTER THAN OBAMA'S PLAN
I understand what you mean and I have read many Health Economists,Accountants and Tax Attornies explanation of each candidates proposal and how it will affect employees, employers and income tax; the majority think McCain is on the right tract. But there is alot more explaining to do and much tweaking needed.
My feeling is $5000.00 credit is pretty darn good for those individuals/families that have no group health/employer provided plan either subsidized or paid in full by the employer, and do not have the income to purchase their own plan due to the cost. Obama's plan requires total revamping of the Health Care System and will cost Taxpayer's dearly.
Our medical practice has a group health plan that employees have the option to participate in. By having a group plan their premium is much lower than if they were to purchase individual/family coverage on their own. Also, there is no pre-existing clause. So they cannot be denied coverage under the plan.
Problem is our family coverage is quite expensive as all insureds under the plan must have and pay for the same benefits with the same deductible. We could afford higher deductible, reducing our Premiums, but our employees cannot afford hight deductibles, etc.
Unlike corporations only the employees individual premiums under the plan are deductible not our premium. We are paying 1300.00/month for our family of 4 and 2 female employees. Each of their premiums is approx $3000.00 per year.
If health care premiums and co-payments were fully deductible from gross income it would certainly help the situation! Net income is reduced so the Government loses the tax, but in the long run will save money by needing to subsidize the system less. But if they make it fully deductible they aren't going to give a $5000.00 credit on top of it.
