Just had an email from Gaming Club saying I won't be able to play there from Monday and to head to Betway!

There have been a lot of background changes affecting Palace Group, Forward Slash and Betway recently and I guess this is the culmination. I assume (though haven't seen it confirmed) this will also affect Lucky Nugget, Jackpot City, Spin Palace, Mummy's Gold & Ruby Fortune otherwise they would have sent me to one of those, all being joined at the hip.

Anyone else heard anything on those brands?

Yes, I heard some time ago that Palace Group were shutting off all their brands to the UK, except for Betway.
Seems a bit odd, seeing as how Betway affiliate program was split from the rest last October...

Don't remember where I read it - but it wasn't an official notification.

TBH I thought the whole Digimedia restructuring would be a way for all those casinos to KEEP their UK players...? September 16th is the cutoff for licensing applications, so over the next coupld of weeks there may be lots of changes.

I took heed of the rumours, so am not affected by being unable to complete the multi-day MPV tournaments, nor get the prizes due. I held my nerve despite receiving promotional emails right up to TODAY inviting me to take part in the weekend bonus, and the September "win a car" £100,000 promotion at Royal Vegas (which is also Digimedia, and will be cutting me off in 2 days). The "some time in August" turns out to be the 31st, and had they let players know well in advance, they could have been receiving deposits from me between mid July and some time during this week (to give time for withdrawals to process before the cut off). As it happens, once the rumours turned out to be spot on for Vegas Partner Lounge, and some players WERE inconvenienced by being cut off mid way through the €20,000 and €100,000 world cup network MPV (and I had a VERY narrow escape), I ditched all the Digimedia casinos, including their "shadow" brands Jackpot Factory and Palace Group. Both Royal Vegas and All Slots are STILL sending me emails trying to entice me to deposit and play. I am ignoring them.

I have Betway installed as a known "safe brand" for the UK, but already have an account there, so selling my details to them is rather pointless (unless they let me take welcome boni on over a dozen accounts from various parts of what is now Digimedia).

I have also backed out of Slotland & Winaday, and it now looks like GoneGambling is of no further use to UK players as the participating casinos will not be getting UK licences as far as I can see.

UK players now need the next rumour instalment, although the most inconvenient changes have probably already taken place, and we now have a number of confirmed casinos that are making applications, and if they then pull out, it will be down to the UKGC saying "no" to them getting a licence.

Wondering how all this will affect me in Scotland. Taking it for granted we wont as hope to hell we don't get it, but if things go wrong and this stupid country goes independent in a few weeks wonder how that will affect gambling here as we would no longer be part of UK.
