Did you know Gas prices are going up everyday

Don't Buy Gas on May 15th

NO GAS...ON MAY 15TH 2007

The Austin paper indicated that prices could go as high as $4 per gallon later this year....read on
DON'T PUMP GAS ON MAY 15TH!!
In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.
On May 15th 2007, all internet users are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.
There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the internet network, and the average car takes about 30 to 50 dollars to fill up.
If all users did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,292,000,000.00 (that's almost 3 BILLION) out of the oil companies' pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.
If you agree (which I can't see why you wouldn't) resend this to all of your contact list. With it saying, ''Don't pump gas on May 15th"
I'LL BE PARTICIPATING..HOPE ALL OF YOU SEE THE IMPORTANCE AND DO THE SAME!

for a detailed explanation why it won't work and cannot work, but the essential point is that as long as people are driving, they will have buy gas some time, so if they don't buy it today, they will have to buy it tomorrow or some other day. As I said before, if you are serious about gas prices, get a more fuel efficient car, drive less or stop driving altogether (and vote for a president who will make peace in the Middle East).

A couple weeks ago, City TV caught me filling up at a local Pioneer station. The reporter asked what I thought about the price of gas? I told her, Ridiculous! If everyone just keeps pumping in silence, nothing will change. When asked if I would support a boycott? Damn straight. Yes my situation allows me this because I do not need, at this time, to buy gas to put food on the table. But, if no one speaks, no voice is heard, and we pay away. What other immediate option would work? Getting rid of the president may be a future solution, but what would cause a immediate solution? In my eyes, boycotting would be the thing to do. Although I realize this is not an option for many people. And not everyone can afford to change to a fuel efficient car. This is just my opinion, I would love to hear others. By the way, I'm in Canada as well. The gas is no cheaper but I dont have to deal with the antics of Mr. Bush, thank god.
p.s. I was born in the US though:)

And this is what I think that's all.

A boycott on many things will work
It's the saying "Supply & Demand"
And we all know people need this fuel to get to work to get a paycheck to feed the family and we all know not just the Bush is behind all this. Many hands are still getting paid & lubed.
The UK where you are they love to waste gas  They all drive faster and they burn more fuel lol They can't be late for tea & croupette
Don't worry I have a great English Girl I married so i'm not picking on the English people about tea & croupette.
I Love the English culture
Peace GM
