Deposit limit question

People’s thoughts on this one please.

Uk casino. All British casino. Deposit limit of £500 per month in place.
Playing and affordability form pops up. All completed and input affordability of £1000 per month to spend. Close form.

Deposit limit immediately increases to £1000 per month, I didn’t request this and no 24 hour wait time implemented.

Should this be allowed under UK licence?
