I have been thinking about this for a while because of something that was said to me by a casino rep. So I thought I'd see what ya'll thought about this subject.
I would like to know why deposit bonuses count against you in regard to free chips or other promos, especially if the deposit bonuses are sticky? The casinos don't lose any money by giving you a bonus. They take it back when you win. Most times you lose, so it doesn't hurt the casino either way.
On the other hand, I play at one group that will let you remove the bonus and cashout before you make playthru if you want to. All that is removed is the bonus and you are good to go for a cashout.
And another group gives out free chips all the time. They aren't big, but they are nice. Plus they have reasonable deposit bonuses.
I know that the casinos can decide to give out anything they want to to who they want to. Just like to know why some casinos make you feel like a beggar when you take what is offered.
