Question Dead or Alive

I could not find a relevant thread to put this in sorry so just thought i'd make a new one. I've been hammering dead or alive for months now (over 200,000 spins in the last 3 months and over 600,000 in my lifetime). I'm physically sick seeing all these mega wins that keep eluding me

Just a question to the usual suspects i.e. Nate, Blathaon, rolastan etc. How often do you get near misses with 4 wilds on a win-line? Just a second ago i had 4 wilds on a win-line with 8 spins to go! Of course the wild never turned up and what could have been a mega win turned out to be just over 100x stake ( 7 crap symbols and a cup). This is not the first time this has happened. I can think of at least 30 times in the past 3 years i've had 4 wilds on a win-line with over 6 spins to go and the wild has not turned up.

Is this just incredibly bad luck or do these near misses happen a lot? I just find it soo hard to believe that the same people keep getting 5 wilds on a win-line and it keeps eluding me

Any feeback would be appreciated

its all luck , the 3rd time I ever played in January I got 5 wilds in line and had it once more since and I rarely play the game, its same with all slots take immortal romance ive had many wild desires but never had a decent win yet others get all those 4 reel wild desires, you could play DOA for next 10 years and still never get 5 wilds and others could play it twice and hit themboth times

yep, it's all about the luck. I'm playing now almost only on DOA, but I'm lucky, I think, because in past months I got few 3000x bets stake.

Anyway, I'm personally have the rule: I don't play my own money, only with money that comes from casinos. I had lost in past two day €600 only playing in DOA, but it's just casino money I won from DOA

You should hit it on average every 130 features. You should get the 5 extra spins every 40 IIRC. You need to search forum 'kktmd' DoA stats. They tell you how frequently on average you should get certain wins.

I get 4 wilds on a win line very often. Its all about luck. I had 3 hits in 2 days this past weekend. 5 Scatters twice ( Maxino and Betsafe) for 2500x plus a 2600x hit with 5 wilds at Guts (I don't post screenies much anymore). Before that my last hit was over 1 or 2 months ago at Redbet for about 3400x stake.

The question is really how often you play the game? I don't do the long drawn out runs i used to do in the past like depositing $500 - $1000 and hitting it on 90c spins for a few hours. I have changed my play style to more of hit and run on DOA.

I play 2 Casinos simultaneously sometimes 3 for 100x or a bit more. If I hit 100x or even 200x, I leave the Slot. Somewhere along the line I know I will land a 5 Wild line. If I have wagering, I stick around.

Since my 3 hits in short time, I have gone a week of dabbling on DOA with the best hit in and around the region of 100 - 500x. I end up getting bored and wasting my money on NetEnt JUNK like CFTBL, TwinSpin and Wild Water. I think i play them largely due to the speed and the fact that they are really great games. I tend to forget that they are engineered to be wallet bleeding scum.

In any event, don't chase. What I sometimes enjoy doing is depositing say 100, playing some other slot and if i get ahead by say 50, I play DOA for that amount. When I lose it, I play elsewhere and repeat the process.

In any event the majority of my hits recently came in the first 300 spins. I just play the Slot really often (More like Every deposit ). Good Luck.

I had never played DOA till last week but on my first ever session hit a 300x win on the feature then on Monday gave it another bash and hit a 900x on the feature after playing just £10 at 36p spins. Just very good luck I suppose- or payback for all the crap sessions I've had on (F)Aliens

This slot is VERY high variance - almost as high as playing a progressive game.
Most of the time you will get slaughtered, if you're very, very lucky you will hit a mega win.
I can't bring myself to play it after getting 5 wilds (NOT on a win line) in June 2012; it's just not my cup of tea at all. I would much rather play low to medium variance games where a bet x200+ win is really a great result, and a string of medium hits let you leave with a decent profit.

if you looking for a new challenge try reel steel try and hit 5 high payers with sub in the feature its 25 times the value eg 1500 is 375

It's a mega ultra super-duper high variance game (or add any other adjective you think suit), I've never got 5 wilds despite going at it for some time now, have got 5 scatters twice which saved me......

I've even had 4 wilds pop in a single free-spin with 3 in a line and yet the 5th did not come.....i've had countless features with no wilds and even more with 4 wilds......point is what you're going thru is frustrating but pretty pretty standard.......

The slot is very high variance and only once have I hit the 5 wild lines ($2.25 = $3456 roughly - so not really that great compared), never had the 5 scatters.

I don't play it as much these days but the bolded line above never seems to happen to me regardless of features when I play DOA I always seem to keep a steady balance. As for the 4 wild lines, this happens a lot I have even had 7+ wilds without that 5 wild line and the payout has been crap, never take shots of those as I just want to punch the screen

Near misses? Do people still use that term You win or you lose, simple as that, and some spend more money/time on their favorite slots. I believe theres more people winning, but thinking everyone should be a casinomeistermember, posting screenshots... is not so realistic. I wouldn't spend any time thinking about it

ahhh that game that machins bahhhhhhhhhhhhh ive had some nice hits on it but theres one place im in for 5k on it although i did hit the five scatters i have not hit five diamonds wth ?

My strategy varies on this slot sometimes I begin at 18p bets with 30 something bankroll, then up it by 1 bet level after each good win. Say I nail a good 5 of a kind or a 50-70X free spin sesh, I'll then go up to 27p and so on probably only to a max of 90p and only if I'm at least near a 200 balance. The game has to look hot to me though but if it has been cold for a very very long time, it can really explode what I find is also helpful I write down where DOA has been stone cold build a balance up on diff slots on my next session at the casino then bomb doa and more often than not I get feature really fast now of course it is not guaranteed to be great but after these cold runs you seem to hit it very frequently also increasing chance of hitting the big win! or mega big win!
Just remember man Net Ent has umpteen games where you can win a-lot! You could like win big on 18p-27p on doa then jump to Silent Run begin with 50p-75p bets or approx 1% or less of you overall balance(the bonus game on this game is really top notch at times) creature from black lagoon or jatb starting bets of 40p-60p(or approx 1% or less of balance) and up on back of your big wins! A member on here won over 1grand on 20p bet on jatb and I know that is def possible as I won £251 on 20p !
Good luck and just save Doa for later it will still be there when you have a monster stack to grind on it!
