Mine for money with the launch of Da Vinci Diamonds on Virgin Casino

London, 25 June 2008 Virgin Casino (Old / Expired Link) today announced the introduction of Da Vinci Diamonds to its site an exotic 5 reel, 20-payline slot game, offering opulent cash prizes of up to 125,000 with a 100-credit maximum bet.

Da Vinci Diamonds invites players to explore the wonders of The Renaissance as they play the Tumbling Reels, feature, enabling them to win over and over again on a single play. With a re-triggering Free Spins Bonus, where players can win up to 300 free spins, Da Vinci Diamonds offers players the chance to enjoy the wealth and splendour of a Medici.

By triggering the Free Spins Bonus, players receive six free spins and all 20 lines are active. Free Spins can be re-triggered over and over again, giving players up to a maximum 300 free spins in a single go!

The reels are richer in the Free Spins Bonus too and there are more ways to win. In addition to paying on lines, several of the symbols also pay as scatter pays. For these scatter pay symbols, players only need to get three or more of the same symbol anywhere on the reels to win.

To win the 125,000 top prize, simply match up five Da Vinci Diamonds symbols on any played payline, with maximum bet.

As with all Virgin Casino games, players can also earn V*Points Virgin Games loyalty points every time they play. Offering players the chance to redeem their points for further Virgin rewards, including Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Miles or
cold, hard cash, V*Points can be transferred across Virgin Games portfolio of products, including Virgin Poker and Virgin Bingo.

Premium releases including Cleopatra II and Vegas, Baby! have already been added to Virgin Casinos portfolio of games in 2008. Further big IGT names will be added to Virgin Games in the coming months, ensuring a constant stream of new and exciting games to keep players adrenalin going.

Virgin Casino launched under the Virgin Games brand in June 2004. The site was refreshed in June 2006, providing players with a greater choice of games and additional means of earning bonus points and rewards.

Da Vinci Diamonds is available to play now on Old / Expired Link.

I love this game.

It's one of those that makes you think you're winning loads whilst your balance is sneakily dwindling away... One of the classiest bonus rounds ever though!

Nice to see it online

Another classic piece of marketing speil... :(

By triggering the ‘Free Spins Bonus’, players receive six free spins and all 20 lines are active. Free Spins can be re-triggered over and over again, giving players up to a maximum 300 free spins in a single go!

Is that supposed to be good?
What are the chances of hitting 1 re-trigger, let alone enough to get 300 spins?
Hey, guess what - on 100's of slots on other softwares there is the possibility to keep getting re-triggers with no maximum limit on the number of free-spins!

To win the 125,000 top prize, simply match up five ‘Da Vinci Diamonds’ symbols on any played payline, with maximum bet.

Simply???? :eek2:
What simply be lucky enough to hit a 1 in several million winning combination while playing at 100/line?
OK then - I have a great chance of hitting the jackpot!
(If I win the lottery and then play continuously for several months on max bet).

Kasino, free spin symbols are scattered in all reels so the probability is higher. Also, it awards the number of free spins randomly, so you can get quite a few.

True, but... this is with every slot. This is why we don't call it winning, we call it gambling. :)

I love this slot. Very unique which makes it fun :)!!!

Finally just got it here in NY.

I like it too, at first sight.
I played in fun mode for quite a while yesterday, and made quite a bit, but then again...FUN mode....
Anyway, who is able to actually PLAY this slot, since at least half the world seems to be banned at Virgin ?
Did they make it just for the brits ? (Lucky you :) )

Stomps feet i want to play for real. Why oh why cant these rules change on banned countries. Ill even pay the taxes on it if i win a lot. LOL

Not sure if there is any point in giving feedback, but I do like this slot and it's a whole lot better than Elvis or Vegas Baby. As slotster says, it's low variance and entertaining enough to make you not notice that you're wasting your money away. The bonus round is good, though 6 spins is a bit on the stingy side.

Obviously the difference is the tumbling slots which adds a bit as you wait to see if you're going to get another line or two. The sound effects and music are good, though it could go just a little bit faster when waiting for the tumbling to happen.

I played it for over an hour in fun mode today, and I do really love the concept; it's like a mixture of Crypto's Bejeweled & MG's Tomb Raider 2!

The worst thing for me was the speed of play. I don't know if it's just a slow graphics card on my 5+ year old PC, but I found it tediously slow - and that's coming from someone who rarely uses quick-spin at MG's!
Also, the lack of autoplay on ALL WagerWorks slots is a real turn-off.

I disagree about the variance though - I would say it's pretty high. You don't seem to have much chance of winning anything really decent in 'normal spins', but the free-spin bonus has HUGE potential.
Potential being the key word there. I agree with the previous poster, 6 free-spin does seem rather stingy. :(
I didn't count them, but I reckon it took me around 200 spins before I go the feature, and then I didn't get any re-triggers and it returned bet x 26.5 (below) which seemed rather poor because the free-spin reels are much better than normal play ones - they have 3 lots of scatters for a start!

So far though, apart from the slow gameplay, I really like it!
8 out of 10 - could do better! :p

Also, the lack of autoplay on ALL WagerWorks slots is a real turn-off.

I was told a while back that it is part of Alderney's stipulations with the Wagerworks licence that there be no autoplay facility, although more recently someone suggested that they may have relaxed that one.

You must admit, they do have a nice list of games. If and when the regulations change for the USA, their customer base will increase quite a bit. I know I'll sign up. Like the games.

By the way....

If anyone gets a "Randomly Awarded Bonus" please let me know.. Because I know at the B & M it does it, but not sure here. Thanks!

CK

I found 50 in my account a couple of weeks back, but bonuses at most "brand" casinos tend to be more scarce than their more dedicated counterparts.

Yeah, quite a few of the IGT slots are very slightly different online from the B&M ones.

I think they are all still very good, though.

Been enjoying this Davinci diamonds too, it is a really unique slot

That said, I'd agree on the slow game play and difficulty in triggering the bonus round - it has taken me 100s of spins to see the bonus game. Mind you, it did re-trigger about five times when I did finally get it!

This is torture man i want to play darn it all. Got 2 minds to drive up to rama
and play there. other part of my lil mind here says play online LOL
I emailed them asking them again why i cant use my prepaid visa cards when i joined the casino they told me cdns could play with them now they changed the rules.
