I wish that I hadn't read your post Rob:)...I had to go make another deposit, and of course, I had to lose that deposit chasing those random jackpots. When will I ever learn?

Sorry to here that SQUAWK, it seems sometimes no matter how hard you try you just can't get anything to hit...I know I do the same thing...

I'm convinced that to play there you have to have REALLY good Karma, the moon is aligned, your fingers are crossed (and any other body parts that can be) and keep the wheel spinning  I have deposited there several times and had trouble even hitting one feature..it kind of remonds me of Rushmore where the Mister Money RJ was over 38,000 (dollars..for cripes sake) and all the others are over 10,000 to 20,000...I don't think anyone hits a RJ there..but I digress..good luck to anyone that can hit!!!

20K @ 3K per week..

I play at CWC quite often and I think I should take some of my money and go for a brain scan. I can deposit and lose 20K very fast, yet, if I were to win it, I would have to wait 7 weeks to collect my winnings in their entirety. Makes no sense at all. I have watched this industry go from bad to worse over the years. At first, I was mad over the stupid law passed by the US, but now I dont care at all. I have saved a ton of money and since I can only play RTG casinos (i live in NY) I am getting bored real fast. They just dont have the variety of MG. Every random jackpot game is the same with very slight variations. I do not see many winners at CWC, and if someone does hit a good win, it is advertised over and over again. The amount of the win is posted, but not the game won on, nor the date of the win. For all I know, I could be seeing the name of someone who won last year...lol. Time for a break from these casinos.

Good Luck All.

linda7 how did you collect your winnings ?since i hit that random playing 1$ a little while ago

Hi Mark, whenever I make a withdrawal I ask them to send me a paper check via regular mail. I live in NY and do not want to draw any attention to myself or the casino. What has surprised me the most is that regular mail should be a slow process, but I find that I receive the checks within a week or so.

Hope this helps. Much congrats on your RJ win! Hope many more come your way.

In case of confusion, all gambling winnings are to be declared as income at least federally in the year won. Any gambling losses that occured in the same year can be added to your federal return as a deduction. These are two different reporting sections on your federal return. Confusing yes and not how most report annual gambling results on there federal returns especially if annual losses exceed annual wins since annual losses are only deductible against total annual wins! I think Babs was refering more to avoiding UIGEA and other reporting issues for both online casinos,players,etc..(Be careful there also as intentionally structuring payments to avoid certain types of reporting could be a felony). That said one not declaring income (with willful knowledge) could possibly be considered tax fraud and/or evasion. Disclaimer:Consult your tax advisor and legal counsel as I am neither.
