Lol. I have a business where 90% of it is web based. And I can proudly say that, I designed and coded it all by myself, which isn't bad for a female. :D. Anyways, I use a certain online tool to test for errors. It's pretty handy, and in my opinion, pretty smack on. Tonight I thought, what if I would put any casino name in, what would come up? So away I went. The stuff I found out . For instance ( keep in mind mine is only 3 months live) My coding was 5.5.un-named casino? 0.7 :eek:.0.7 for coding of a casino! wth? Meta tags: mine 8.5.Casino 3.7. The list is long. Overall for casino? 6.7. Mine? 6.5..So that left me thinking, wouldn't and shouldn't we use this as a "tool" of information before we deposit? And no Bryan, I didn't check you guys out, and I wont :). Here is the site. www.nibbler.skilltide.com. Just put in any website you want.:)

I dont see where the relevance of making a deposit at a casino and this site exists?, its merely reporting lots of metrics for a site which are mostly irrelevant to anyone else but a site owner and even then i dont see any value from their metrics.

The only site metrix i regulary look through would be gtmetrix

Right, But when you are giving a casino money, wouldn't you want the best experience? If their coding is messed up, it's going to reflect. The reporting shows relevance in the fact of how mobile friendly and easy it is to use......good to know if you use your phone for casinos. Coding.....good to know if you are getting errors all the time, crashing etc. How they market and if they are social media friendly is irrelevant, but the rest are important. And you can clearly see where some Casinos have spent more money/effort on the marketing side and less on the technical.

Like i said the metrics dont show any anything, the mobile friendly check is probably just checking that vieports exist in the code for mobile devices this dosent actually mean it's particularly friendly for users in terms of user experience on a mobile device though, it means it will re-adjust the layout depending on resolution or just check for a mobile version of a site.

You can easily have a viewport configured site, that is still an awful user expeince for mobile users.

What it dosen't do is actually check the real human user experience on a mobile device, and to have a casino that is really "mobile friendly" site means providing an amazing simple user interface specifically for mobile users such as Casumo for an example, which according to this site scores a 3.9 for code quality...

Any big site is going to have an endless list of errors showing in that W3C Validation Errors section, and its really irrevelvant, and comapring scores from a simple website hand coded page to a hugely complex site is like comparing an apple to an entire supermarket of food :)

This website is ok for checking your own site, but even then i think there is better sites that do the same such as

Mine is a publishing company. I do eBooks and print. I could of had mine done professionally, but 1) I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars. 2) If something happens, and you know it will, I needed to be knowledgeable. I've learned a lot doing it on my own, with more to learn. I'm going to check out the site you posted. Thanks :)
