Anyone who has programs that would like to analyze what, in my opinion, some ridiculous BJ sessions that most of my losses come from when I upped my bet size and the dealer started at that exact moment to win a bunch of hands in a role to take me down. This happens every now and then and progressively completely grinded me down. I can almost predict that I will lose every time that I upped the bet in a role but I just refuse to believe that it can happen like 90% of the time. This occurs over the course of a few days! The log files are in the standard crypto text format.

I am about to swear off playing at any crypto casinos ever again, at least those ones that display similar software behavior! What is very strange is different crypto casinos show very different behavior although they are supposedly using the same software.

We really are hearing too much of this from too many posters. I have shut down my BJ at Crypto and MG. Forget Playtech! What else is left????

I said even different casinos using Crypto software gave very different experience. I would choose which Crypto casino to play very carefully! But I am quite fed up that the losing streak came in right at the moment that I increased my bet size again and again and again and again! This became the main reason that my bankroll went downhill in steps like a staircase. The timing is really quite amazing. I don't know if you won money one time, the software will remember and switch to a mode that will take you down the next time.

simple solution. try casinowebcam.

cant complain about bad software, when there is no software :D

I might try that! Two questions: 1) are they trustworthy?
2) how different are real BJ game compared with virtual BJ?

Oh I think you will need an internet connection with the width of the Champ Elysee to play at live cam casinos.

I've been playing Crypto for 4 years and their BJ is my favorite. They can be streaky, but you can profit from it :). Though I never use Martingale or big progressive bets, I use very moderate positive progression and my average resuts are a little up expectation, especially at my favorites - Omni and Inter.
One player post at my forum quite contrary, something like, when you lose playing $1, bet $25 and you'll win (it was about William Hill) ;).

Like DeMango says, and not knocking you sw, but personally I have my reasons for thinking Crypto and MG are very safe. Reasons are as follows - this is just my personal opinion :)

In the UK we have 2 "highstreet-name" bookmakers - Ladbrokes, William Hill and also the people that run the Soccer Pools - Littlewoods - all using MG or Crypto. Plus mega-brand names like The Ritz Club. IMHO, there is absolutely no-way-whatsoever that these brands would jeopardise their reputations and businesses with online casinos if they felt there was any way the software played unfairly. They just couldn't afford to risk their reps in the multi-million Sports betting or glossy hotel businesses.

Now, as I understand it, neither Crypto nor MG allow their casino partners to mess with/affect the odds or payouts or the way the software plays. They can simply pick what games they have in their version of the software and the RND generated numbers etc are fed direct from Microgaming's or Crypto's servers. Which by progressive logic means, all casinos on these two platforms have to play a fair game (or at least, the game that Crypto/MG provides).

They may not be quick payers etc, but the game's the same whether you be at Intercasino, William Hill, VIP etc etc. So if you dont trust a Crypto or MG casino, you dont trust Cryptologic or MG period. And if you don't trust MG or Crypto period (and therefore all the casinos that use them) then you have to stick to Land Casinos 'cos there ain't no better online IMHO

Just my 2c but as DeMango says, we are seeing a lot of these threads recently which can stack up to leave a very bad impression of the scene to newbies where often is totally legitimate. I've had terrible runs at some of the casinos above where i've felt they are stacked against me...then i've had great runs at the same places a week or so later. Swings and roundabouts - to me anyway.

Cheers

Simmo!

PS. Bryan - i think you ought to extend the Complaints board to include Suspicion and Game Fairness so the gripes are all in one place.

1) they seem to be trustworthy. I cashed out 4k on tuesday, their 48 hr. hold expired on thursday night and the funds were in my account on monday.

2) virtual blackjack is a lot faster obviously. but if u doubt the fairness of some virtual, this is a good solution. The webcam choppyness is a LOT better than it was a few months ago since they upgraded too.

The amazing thing is that there doesn't seem to be any statistics whatsoever concerning raised bets via negative or positive progressions. I have in the past seen stats from flat betting members that seem on the up and up. But increased wagering requirements and standard deviation have mostly made the Bonus Ho's unhappy campers. My results with MG and Crypto are off .5 to 1.5 from standard ev of -.50 In all this and in keeping with Simmo's thoughts I wonder if the software is unknowingly giving less than predicted results. The search for truth goes on!

That is what bugs me the most, same software but totally different behaviors at different casinos!

Call me paranoid, call me yet-another-loser-making-unfair-software complaint, yawn-yawn-yawn, criticize me anyway you want (I might not read them :))
but how do I know that casinos won't mess with the executable, data files etc after they were delivered to the casinos by the software companies?

How can the same software behaves so differently at different casinos?

Yeah I know this kind of post is boring, you have seen them so many times! Yeah, yeah, haven't we all!

Fair or not fair I no longer care because I am uninstalling all my crypto softwares! Save myself some future cash! :)

I stopped playing at crypto also. Every session (perhaps 15) felt exactly the same. Played ok for the first ~1000$ wagered and after that it was just a long slow drain on my bankroll. Perhaps I just was very unlucky there but who want to play with a software that gives you a lot of bad luck.

For me it is a really bad sign when I sit and guess the next dealer card and am right 40% of the time.:)

I agree! I have also been playing Crypto 4-years and BJ has DEFINITELY turned shyte in last 6-9 months. I can't prove this, of course, but there is not doubt in my mind that somebody somewhere has 'tweaked' the software to make sure us punters don't win too much.
I still dabble with it occasionally, just to make sure I'm not being paranoid, but sadly I am always proved right.
It does seem a strange policy though, as I still trust most of their other games, which seem mostly fair.

Just to contradict myself though - I made a rare excursion to a 'real' B&M casino last night & played a little BJ. And I tell you, if the dealer in an internet casino had the same 'luck' as the real person yesterday, I would have pulled out all the wires & thrown my PC out the window!!! How many times did he have a 10 on the deal & make 21 from 3, 4, 5 & 6? I donno - I lost count after 20...!
And then today at VIP I had a good run & actually made a few bucks. But this was just an exception to the rule - one slightly good session hardly makes up for dozens of crap ones.
My advice; if you must play Crypto BJ make sure you stop if $20 or more down, otherwise, try a different game! ;)
