I have been mulling over something that was recommended to me yesterday, after 41 deposits and a few free chips sprinkled in, of no wins within a few weeks at this one, particular casino.

1. If one plays the same at all casinos, and is able to withdraw a few times in between deposits, should one change their play for a certain casino if it is recommended when they are continually losing at this specific casino?

2. Why would it be recommended to low roll, which is totally against your play style and win style at all other casinos, at this one particular casino?

3. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that this casino suggested to me to change my style of play to get more out of my session. Think about those things....really, really think....please.

This , to me, amounts to admitting to slots being weighted, and/or skewed tremendously in the casinos favor over and beyond the average casino percentage...We all know casinos will win...but if one casino knows it will take your money faster, are they trying to slow the player down from losing too fast? Why? Why would a casino WANT to slow the players play down unless it is to keep the said player from questioning their slot percentage payout from consistant losses. I am totally , truly concerned over this because, this in fact, is admitting to guilt of skewing the slots to perform even worse tha they do.

Am I being obtuse, unclear or totally befuddled..?

Maybe this will help try to get what I am asking across...I know at times I screw up what I am saying but go with me on this..

Casinos 1-20, normal play...normal losses, normal deposits, normal withdrawals..

Casino 21....excessive losses on normal play....no withdrawals..no play time...and then a suggestion to change play style...which is to LOWER play style...to stretch playtime for a chance of bonus wins which never appear....does someone know something that they are not telling at this casino??

Why is the win/loss ratio the same across the board at all casinos, with withdrawals in between for all, but this one, and they then proceed to tell me to low roll instead playing normally as I have, and that I will give myself a better chance to hit the bonus round after asking for my stats which was in the 70% range overall for the month.

I have closed my acocunt for the time being at this casino today. I am feeling that I am not getting a fair game at this time. I have never visited a landbased casino 40 times without a win.....I have never been to a landbased casino more than 3 times without bringing money home. What is happening now with a FEW of these casinos is not normal...in any way shape or form....

Yes, and that's what they want you to be!! :D No, wait, that's me they want to be befuddled!

I only know that if you have a limited amount of money to play, it makes sense to "low roll" for longer playtime, which to me means that you would, in theory have more chances of hitting a bonus.

I really have no opinion any more of just about anything with on line casinos. I trust mine, win sometimes, lose more often. I think that is how it goes even at B&M casinos, if you go there aften enough.

Yep, I guess I didn't say it well. If you start with the same bankroll at all casinos.....and have the same amount of losses vs playtime vs withdrawals at all of them...except this one casino.....and then are told NOT to play your normal style (since you established it in the last 40 deposits at this casino) and they can see your play style.....etc , etc....after losing over 40 depsits unlike the other casinos...etc, etc...(did that help clarify it more)? Would one think something is not right with this one casino?

You said it just fine, Silc. I understood you. It is just not something you can "prove" one way or the other. But..... I would be extremely suspicious of the casino that told you to change your play style. You are either "lucky" or "not lucky" with slots. There is not one way that works, as opposed to other ways that don't work.

At least that is how I see it. You either trust your casino to give you fair play or you don't play. But, for a gambler, hope springs eternal, right? :)

How true! My husband hates when I say it, but "boy Howdy" (means you are so right :D)....I learned that from him ...go figure he would hate me using it lmao...

I am curious as to which casino told you this, not that you need say. But did it seem as if they knew your playing patterns, as has been mentioned in another thread of casinos tracking players, or was it just a general statement that maybe changing your playing style might give you an advantage, or keep you in the same disadvantage?

This is the one thing I don't like about online casinos, they can keep computer generated micro logs on all players, wagers, wins and losses if they like, for whatever purpose and if they did this, then is the idea of gaming being "random", just a smoke screen.

At least with the B&M, you can play anonymously, unless you use a club card, just thinking out loud here Nate, so don't get bent, but it feels more random than online.

As I have said before, you can have a casino uninstalled forever, re-install it check the games and you will see your last wins still blinking away. Now why doesn't this info get wiped from the programs?

Yes, I know that records of every play and wager needs to be kept for various reasons, but does it go beyond a player wanting play logs, or proof that a win did or didn't really happen?

Sorry, it's late and my mind is getting conspirical, new word, I just made that one up. :p

By the way, where the heck is ChuChu?

The simple solution is just uninstall that casino from your computer. If there is a casino that you never win at why keep playing?

Hmmm it does seem dodgy Silc but hopeless to prove it. Even if it isn't rigged you are definately having no luck there so I suggest uninstalling the casino. I have uninstalled perfectly good casinos simply because they don't feel "lucky" (i.e., I've had really bad luck there). The winnings don't come often, but they do have to come often enough to keep us coming back for more during the dry spells. :D

Silc,

I have questioned the same thing. I know which Casino you are referring to :)

Simple answer. They are one of the few accredited left to play at for the USA and also because, I enjoyed the casino.

I did uninstall them for the time being seeing there are changes going on which is affecting a lot of play there IMO. Interesting how you guys fail to remember, we, in the USA have slim pickings and a lot invested in the few casinos we do play at. And as Jod says, it is called "eternal hope" of getting something back before hauling butt....

There seems to be a lot of eternal hope going around at the moment.
Glad its not just me that is a little concerned about the hidden prize wheel hidden behind the curtain at oz lately.

 It is ALL jod5413's fault. She voiced the secret words and made them real to us poor losing players...and that is the truth she uttered, sad to say...all gamblers have that darn light in their hearts and gleam in their eyes (is that from fading fast and zoning out ?)...

It was once said...if it is not spoken , then it is not real...PpPpHHhTTt...she said it! HMmMMmm...! LMAO...
