Would be 5k as 100 +100 X 25 =5000

Thanks for the quick replies i should reread my posts before posting i was suppose to put £200 deposit not £100 would that be right then i suppose it would as i just double what you 2 said.

That WR is just ridiculous in this day and age :(
I do still list Casumo on my website - but they are way down near the bottom of my Net Ent casinos page (where casinos are sorted by "value" of their welcome bonuses, from best to worst).

Since November I decided not to add any new NetEnt casinos to my site if they have such crazy high WRs - I just don't think they're being fair on players who like to take bonuses. Perfectly safe and fine places to play if you DON'T take their bonuses though, which is why I haven't actually dumped any of the high WR ones... yet!

KK

You can look at the bonus as 25 x Deposit + Bonus, or 50 x Deposit.

In reality the bonus has a wagering requirement of x50 which is actually quite high. It wasn't so long ago that most places I played at listed their bonus WR as only the deposit x 30 or x35 with x40 being the most I saw. These days alot of places have seemed to change their T&C to make it deposit + bonus - which probably catches alot of people out in my opinion. Clearly there are benefits to listing a lower wagering requirement when in reality its not lower at all because it counts both the bonus + deposit.

Casumo is still a good place to play though the website theme is quite fun and the selection of slots are quite good for a site that does not have MG. I have only taken the bonus maybe once or twice when it was offered at 100% but otherwise I don't see anything really appealing about their promotions - its more their selection of slots (Novomatic, WMS, Thunderkick) that makes me play there. It is kind of funny though that I had played there for about 3 months and all my withdrawals had to be done via e-mail as their automated withdrawal does not work for me (located in Australia). Yet they kept saying 'we are working to fix it!' or 'it will be fixed soon!' but 3 months later .... lol thats ok though I guess its not a top priority for them understandably.

You are being bit fast jumping the gun there KK. At Casumo you can withdraw your cash balance at any time and will only lose your bonus. You dont have to complete wager on bonuses.

They use half cash and half bonus as well in wagering. I was confused myself reason never took any bonuses there but had it explained by livechat which made sense.

But yeah you are right it is very high wager requirements. And also they might have different terms for new player and first deposit. From what I was explained way back I understood that at any time I could withdraw cash balance and only lose bonus balance. But after looking through I might be wrong now sorry as found other term stating you lose bonus and any winnings generated with bonus balance,

6.10. During game play, bonus money are used in relation to the real money you have on your account and winnings are divided evenly according to the relation between real money and bonus money in the bet. For example, if you have 100 Euro real money and 50 Euro bonus money in your account, a bet of 30 Euro will contain 20 Euro real money and 10 Euro bonus money and any winnings are divided into the same ratio.

I think that the bonus calculations at Casumo has to be one of the fairest calculations in the industry.

Example for a 100% bonus €100+€100: If you place a bet of €2.00, €1.00 will go from real cash, and €1.00 will go from bonus cash. - If you have won from you starting balance of €200 and have a balance of €1.000, you can choose if you want to finish the wager or you can withdrawal €500.00 (since bonus and real cash count proportionally equal towards the wager)

Example for a 50% bonus €100+€50: If you place a bet of €2.00, €1.34 will go from real cash, and €0.66 will go from bonus cash. - If you have won from you starting balance of €150 and have a balance of €1.000, you can choose if you want to finish the wager or you can withdrawal €666.67 (since bonus and real cash count proportionally equal towards the wager)

Example for a 10% bonus €100+€10: If you place a bet of €2.00, €1.82 will go from real cash, and €0.18 will go from bonus cash. - If you have won from you starting balance of €110 and have a balance of €1.000, you can choose if you want to finish the wager or you can withdrawal €909.09 (since bonus and real cash count proportionally equal towards the wager)

Remember that you can withdrawal at any time, so if you hit a big win early in you session you can chose to withdrawal what’s won with the real money balance. I think that covers up for the high wagering requirement.

With your explanation I can see this bonus is actually much better than I thought!
Another little problem for me to get my head around - how to rate bonuses fairly against each other when casinos have so many different bonus systems... :eek2:

{Edit}
Went to double check, and this is what their T&Cs say:

6.3. If you are eligible for a bonus, wagering requirements will apply before you are eligible to make any cash-outs of the bonus or winnings by bets using bonus money. The wagering requirements, which can vary, will be displayed and can be read when you receive the bonus. If you would like to request a withdrawal before the wagering requirements are fulfilled, Casumo will deduct the whole bonus amount as well as any winnings made from bonus money before approving any withdrawal. Casumo has the right to choose which games and how much a game contributes to the wagering requirements.

Pretty confusing when people are used to "normal" wagering models. But I can see how you have interpreted it. Are you 100% sure your explanation is correct?
What's confusing me, is it says "Bonus amount + winnings from bonus money".
If it works like you say, why don't they just say "your current bonus amount will be deducted..."?

Sorry - I was still editing my post when you replied below!

In other words, just what I explained. You can withdrawal all winnings won from your real cash balance. It's just winnings from the bonus cash you can't withdrawal!

Edit: A tip would be to hover over the withdrawal line in the cashier, then you will see how much you have to wager before you can cash out everything, and it also shows how much you can withdrawal straight away!

wager.PNG

As you can see, I can now withdrawal €82.27 if I want to, then I will lose €57.57. Or I can full fill the wagering of €3068 and hope for a larger amount.

Well i joined the website as i haven't ever seen a website with so many netent and wms games on website as i haven't ever joined so many online casinos and i never come across a wagering requirements like this before that is why i asked i have joined some casinos downloaded them looked at their slots and never deposited because i didn't like their slots so they may have had the same but wouldn't know i always look at the casino first before i join then if i like the look of the slots i look at the bonus second i remember william hill was one of the casinos only took about 1 min to until it from my computer as i didn't like the look of their slots.

Well i played on casumo all day yesterday and like someone said when i checked my wagering requirement i noticed you could cash out before meeting wagering requirements but if you did you only got half of your balance if you do but i didn't.
I did get lucky straight away and i have only starting playing netent games recently as sky vegas where i usually play have a few and i thought they where ok that was why i wanted to join so i tried DOA which i had never played before and Wishmaster and i ended up tripling my balance from only like 20 spins.

I requested a withdrawal before of 550 but i am abit confused as when i deposited and i dodn't like keeping money in my bank account i moved £150 from my saving account to my normal account because i noticed next to card deposits it said their was a fee of 2.5% but it didn't look like £100 + came out so i checked pendingdebit card transactions online and it shows £77.39 pence came out and wasn't until i noticed everything is in euros on the website i have never come across this before btw i changed my mind about depositing £200.

So have i just paid to have my money to be converted into euro and with this money i have withdrawn from my account will i be paying for these 550 euros to be converted back into pounds ?
I do like the website and i will deposit again but if i am going to be paying to have my money to be converted into euros then back into pounds i may have to think twice.

I'm 100% sure, as it's the only casino I play at these days. (And my screen shot confirms how it works)

I think it's explained pretty well, as the text says "bonus amount + winnings from bonus money" that's actually exactly how it works.

They should maybe add an example to that text to make it 100% clear for everyone how it works.

This is normal at all casinos if you don't play in the same currency as you have on your bank account, it's the bank that changes you the currency exchange fees, not the casino. So unless you play at a casino with £ as an option you will have to pay those fees to the bank. (Both on deposits and withdrawals)

congratulations on your win annaTs ..........

must admit for myself I will not play in casinos where you have to convert currency around as there is normally a charge for such a service so I stick to the great old brittish pound, some casinos will charge for wdws as well which for me isn't fair as its hard enough just to get a win these days
let alone be charged for the privilege to make a wdw on it.

Thanks i obviously hit the machines at the right time i actually quite liked wishmaster and Steampower which i had never played before actually i kept going back to steampower as i was determined to get to the top of that tower which i did once DOA was ok would of been nice to have abit more graphics going on.

Well i didn't notice until this whole thing that i couldn't tell if the money had come out that i actually noticed that my money had been changed to euros but now i know thanks i have never come across this before like i said before i haven't joined many online casinos so this is first one i have come across that does this.

Hello Everyone!

I´m sorry I missed this thread for a day but I can verify that JaCkPot is completely right in his explanation of our bonus system and I also agree that we should be bettar att displaying this information on our website to help our players understand it 100%. I do believe that this kind of bonussystem is the most fair for the player as you can always choose to disregard the bonus. Thus, taking a bonus is never a bad thing and you are never locked but you can always make a informed decision if you wanna wager the bonus or not. My tip would be that if you get a 100% bonus, simply play for X2 the amount that you would have played without having any bonus. Then you will still have the same amount of winnings as if you were playing without a bonus ( if you decide to cancel the bonus ) or you will withdraw a significantly larger amount if you complete the wagering req ( I hope, you never know with slots)

We are also looking in to the possibility to have pounds on our site but I dont have more information about that at this point.

If you have any questions, please don´t hesitate to PM me here, quote me or contact our support if the question is urgent :)

Tobias

What do you think about the range of slots? Found it to be too limited for my liking

Currently Casumo offer slots from these providers:

Net Entertainment: 86
(full range)
Williams Interactive (WMS): 52
(full range)
Greentube (Novomatic): 23
(selected slots)
Barcrest: 12
(full range)
Thunderkick: 11

Casumo also offer a neat search feature where you can type in the name of the provider, and you will only see slots from that provider in the ressults:

Here's and example from the search term "greentube":
