Casinos - not that responsible towards problem gamblers.

Just a couple of things which I think are wrong. They often don't default the gambling unit to the lowest possible amount. I almost always play the minimum and sometimes forget to check because a lot of the games are set at their lowest unit by default. PlayNGo is one of the offenders. The other thing I hate is that the MaxBet button is right next to the spin button - so easy to accidentally push it. They say they care - yeah, right!

The location of the max bet button is decided by the slot provider. A casino has no control over that.
Its still a crappy place to put it.
99.9% of the people playing slots wont use it, so why so many providers put it right next to the spinbutton.
Its almost as if they make more money if more money is wagered on their slots.

I agree that they purposely put it in a place too close to the other buttons. In the ideal world, the button would be away from the others so there is little chance that it would be pressed accidentally and also if it was pressed, you have to press it again since the first one would change the bet, but not spin the slot.

Found another annoying thing with a game from a provider I don't usually play - can't remember it. The coin amount is featured more than the bet amount. I started playing and realised 4 or 5 spins layer that instead of playing 20cents a spin I'm playing 10 times that. Grrrr.

Yep, fell victim to that myself. Can’t remember slot but playing something like 40p and had a good feature win so up at around £150. Was manually clicking and accidentally double clicked the max-bet and spin, first and only time I’ve done it to be fair. Max bet on this slot was something like £128 (odd amount I recall). Entire bonus win wiped out in a spin. Riszk told me to do one. I can sort of understand as maybe I had lost my mind after the win and wanted to go for the magical retirement spin but there is no reason whatsoever to put the max spin button where it is most of the time that to catch the occasional person like this.

Not sure why this thread has "Problem gambler" in there, what i see here spoken is mistakes what people can do by clicking wrong buttons, don't think it's happening much more for problem gamblers than leisure gamblers.

Maybe i'm lucky as never hit max bet button in my life or played with wrong stake but usually always try to check bet size quite carefully, especially always when playing some new game and game which i'm familiar with, will just always automatically check it, at least checking bet size shouldn't be too much to do from player. Max bet button could be placed somewhere really far but at least until 15 beers have no problems to find right button i'm looking for.

There are many things where casinos (especially some of them, can't really use word casinos as some are really good at RG) have loads to improve and then these rogue ones are their totally own chapter, they don't even try to act that they care, which is kind of appreciated to be honest :)
