I couldn't possibly give an accurate loss figure, but it's significant for the stakes played.

I started off well, had balance at 3 casinos (£20 & £40) and all 3 increased to above £200 at one point, think one peaked at £297. One had a 100% bonus attached but can't remember the start balance when comp started. Normally I'd have withdrawn some of these balances.

Since my luck turned I've probably deposited about £250 on top, so guess you could take that as my loss, plus the £60 balances I already had when comp started.

Quite a lot to burn away, especially if indont get at least third but even if the comp wasn't on I'd have been playing about the same amount of money anyway (unless I won) so the competition adds extra excitement.

Well, this morning the Prags were on fire, then the afternoon, I couldn't seem to improve my score, so I've gave up for today (originally thought this was the last day) with the ten best screenshot, had several others over the 200x mark on a variety of games, Mustang trail was a great balance increaser despite not giving over 100x at any point, though the biggest wins come from Zeus vs hades, as always.

Well started off very well, and never looked back, was throwing out the profit today, crazy turning a £50 balance into a £300 withdrawal from mainly played on 10p stakes.
Not sure why I'd not tried the less volatile side previously cos there are some great wins in there, and whilst the game rules state you win less in the Zeus bonus round though it does drop in more often, I found the opposite to be true, got way more wilds turning up in the Zeus bonus, even if smaller multipliers, they still pay big when connecting.
Also answered a query I had, what happens if you have an expanded reel when bonus lands! Nothing, it doesn't start you with a wild reel, which is strange as I believe top bonus buy guarantees at least one wild reel, so thought it would be possible to activate this from the base game.

Gorilla Mayhem:

Tonight it was acting different. The same, but different. There were unusual amounts of gorillas about, every other spin they were all over the place, even the x3 ones. Not that they formed any winning combinations, but still. Even in the free spins, I would make it to stage 2 without retriggers. But all these gorillas also meant less scatters to be had, so nothing really happened even if I had a strong feeling something big was just about to come in. I gave up 1,750 spins into it, that's when the 7th free spins came in which in turn finally retriggered and was looking real promising but could still only barely breach a 100x. It's true I had a 700x on it a week or so ago but that shouldn't mean it's entitled to just take and take like it's currently doing. Will keep playing it, but it is a frustrating slot for sure.

Fortune of Giza:

Didn't seem willing to offer me anything whatsoever and I was down to a balance of 182 when a very rare 18 spin feature came in. The wilds eventually lined up but the Pharao just wouldn't appear. A huge potential free spins round but it stopped on 400x and in the end it just improved tonights result on this slot from terrible to less terrible. Still, it gave enough credits back so I could move on to the next slot, even if I probably should have stayed with it for one more feature to see if it was on to something, but I really didn't fancy the risk of going broke so shortly after depositing, having already come real close to it.

The first half of the 2,500 spins was a real exciting ride and at one point I was back to my starting balance for the night. Everything would just hit, even a double 150x line! No sight of the fabled 5 times retrigger, though, and no 500x either. I really thought I would have hit either by now! At that point, I was at 154% but over the second half it would just adjust it back down to break even or thereabouts, so it was a bad ending to the evening.

Opinion: I understand that hi-volatility fans love a good Greek mythology themed video slot, but I generally appreciate more original approaches (hehe). Well today has been a weird one, loads of bonuses but not increasing my score, hopefully what I have is enough to at least hold onto third place place. Wanted to play with more variety; and did, those games just didn't improve my score
Santa's Wonderland played for 4 hours without even a drop in balance before it finally gave an above 100x win, crazy game.
2000 spins on Gorilla Mayhem for one bonus (and a big balance loss), was awful. Buffalo king MW, Christmas Carol MW, all bonusing but paying low, but overall games just held the balance really well, and as usual it was Zeus vs Hades that gave the wins

Why didn't I play the Zeus side from the start of the comp? Gives bonuses regularly and seems to pay decent (over 300x) more often, maybe you don't get the 1000x wins from it, but at least it isn't the balance buster of the Hades side, and actually suggests the game can be played on anything other than min stake.
