Was very clearly aimed directly at me as I am newish and had pushed forward the idea of this competition. So of course I'm going to reply when I'm getting stick.

Also yes, no daily grinding.

You can get 1 bonus/base game and hit a bronze/silver/gold entry that wins the category with just 10 minutes of play time.

That is not even close to competitions with unlimited entries that require daily submissions or at least substantial commitment over the course of the month.

My beyond bad run has been across all my usual games.

Standard tactic is to start off on DoA or BoD and when I get ahead / in front then head for Bonanza.

Usual £20 deposit far too low/risky to head straight for 'B'

The bonus rate on bonanza is 1-450 spins. So yes it is a grind. Its actually considered one of the most grinding slots available online.

Also being available on 94% now makes this slot even worse for some and the likelihood of getting ANY tiers in an hour a very hard grind...let alone 10 minutes lol

I mean the proof is in the pudding. Look at the entries. Look at the data. Look at the math of the slot.

This is top 3 'grinding' slots ever created in the slot industry. This is not opinion this is facts back by the math exposed on this very forum

Bonanza is a TERRIBLE slot. For many reasons inlcuding the math of it.

We have been there. Done that. I just think its a total complete waste of a comp is all because a couple newish forum members just found Bonanza

Well it's about what drives engagment right? I'm sorry but look at the forums. Aside from whatever competition thread is currently running and the monthly 'winner' screenshots thread no other threads are being posted in daily other than the Bonanza one.

Ultimately it doesn't matter 1 bit if the people posting in there have been members for a month for a year or 10 years. If us 'newbies' are driving the activity then it is it what is. CM has to target the current audience they have.

I'm not really sure what the maths or the data has to do with anything. All 3 categories have more entrants than there are prizes. Yes sure the gold entry is only 400x instead of 1000x this time but does that ultimately matter?

The game is 96%, you'll get 96%. It's not like you're losing more playing Bonanza than any other 96% slot. You don't like the game then fine. I'm not out there to make everyone believe in the game. I can see my own numbers and I am perfectly happy with how the game plays out in the long term. And yes I know I won't ever see a 'max win' or even a big one, but in 7 years of gambling I've never hit a max or close to it anywhere else either anyway. That's with a shit load of NLC, prag, push and decent amount of hacksaw on games that can absolutely hit maxes.

Anyway good news for you, the month is nearly over and the competition is almost done with. Then it will be something different and it's highly unlikely Bonanza will be featured as a competition game anytime soon if ever.

You suggested Bonanza/WWTBAM for the CM monthly comp in March and wanted 50x+ wins to qualify

Any wins over 50x account for an entry. No extra bets or bonus buys. Min bet .30. Any slot allowed.

This allows for a more natural contest of people who get lucky and post their hit when actually gambling instead of depositing just to try and gain entries on min bet. Will also likely limit the work on your end so people arent spamming endless .10 betting.

Post all 5 of a kinds with a min bet of .25. Max 5 entries a day. Random draw at end of the month with all entries entered. 1 bonus entry if the 5OAK is over 50x. Min 5 reel slot.


Post your best bonanza or who wants to be a millionaire hits. 50x min to qualify. On non bonus buy version of bonanza/millionaire slot only.

Was a bit rude the way the initial post was written, I mean saying people who play BTG slots are low iq was amusing because all slots are low iq, it's why I like them

Last months comp was not popular with some members so they just didn't take part. Considering @lockinlove won some very nice prizes they could have just left this one out like those guys did.

Just seemed more like a personal issue than a genuine dislike of the comp. Bet they wouldn't have been moaning if they ran hot on it and managed to enter all the tiers.

Yep, ultimately it is I that choose the format. The Golden Boot Comp last month along with the Sweepstake proved very popular - Arguably our most busiest comp yet, but it was a b ache to administer!!

We have had some great comps over the past 12 months, many of which @conker and @dunover put together. Filling their shoes in this space in running the comps is a tall ask, but a challenge I am happy to take up.

Like I say, we are mixing things up next month. I think and hope the majority will be pleasantly surprised. But like with everything, you can't please 100% of the community.

So if you do have ideas, please by all means resurrect this thread with them.

Now the comps have proven very popular and @dunover and @conker really did some great work in creating some truly engaging and entertaining comps. So I need your help as rather than rehashing previous comps, I would like to try and mix things up a bit so as the comps do not become stale.
