Always been a bit of a conspiracy theorist to a point as many on here will have witnessed over the years.....

Strange how when this comp arrived I'm on one on my worst runs in a very long time which also seems endless. Deposits are been gobbled in record time with very little game play and month's budget is pretty much done already

I know the G above O makes no sense logically but I was spinning with auto clicker on another laptop and booted up the bonus on my main laptop when I got it. For whatever reason when I reloaded it it changed the order of the letters lol! G is supposed to be where D is, O is correct, L is meant to be where G is and D is where L is. Very odd.

Edit: Thinking about it, it does seem suspect. Here's the transactions page too, just for avoidance of doubt.

True, but while we're all bunched around the 400-550 mark his score of 1100 means provided the number is like 830 to 10000+ his score will be closest.

So yeah while he's out of luck if the score is anything under this he does have a huge range at the moment that would secure him first.

There's also the fact that when this comp was about to begin the gold tier entry point was set at 1000x, before being reduced to 400x after community feedback.

Was a new "target amount" decided upon after this change or has the original target (which would have been 1000x minimum) remained?

If it is the latter, I'd be feeling quite confident, were I in Wait!What?'s shoes.

I wondered this too. I assumed the numbers were likely altered since all 3 tiers were changed right? So previous numbers selected might not have fitted into the changed categories. Plus if the original gold tier was 1000+ that means the target had to be above this. Given what we know about Bonanza it would look pretty odd to have a target of say 1463 and then have the 'winner' be nearly 400 points off with second like 900 points off.

So surely a new number was picked. If it was random then who knows, if it was picked deliberately I'd say somewhere in the mid 600's.

If anyone manages to swoop in and drop a 700-800x I'd be feeling very confident with that score.

1100 is probably a bit too much, it just so happens no one else is even close giving him a ton of coverage of the high hundreds range anyway.
