Hi all.
Those of you who are here regularly have probably read my imperial/everest thread about the grand virtual group.
Well in that thread the said group withheld 3 cashout requests while still accepting my deposits because I had multiple accounts with the group.
This inspite of the fact that they later acknowledged I was "a serious player"
Now contrast this with the Casino Rewards group who list all their casinos and actively encourage you to join more than one.
All their bonus T&C's are well defined and they automatically tell you if you are not entitled to a promotion and why and even how to become eligible for the promotion.
Their promotions are generally very good and you also get loyalty points.
The cashouts I have made so far with this group were processed quickly and without problems.
So far in my experience they are a shining example of how it should be done and I would love to know what you all think and if you have played with this group.

Agree with you on the whole Rusty.

My only gripe with Casino Rewards is that they have (or at Blackjack Ballroom anyway) a 48 hour period where your withdrawals are reversible before they will start to process them.

I CANT STAND CASINO REWARDS GROUP

They are the only group that I have ever had any trouble with in the 3 years I have been playing. They actually called me a bonus abuser when I asked for no welcome bonus.

They gave it to me anyway, in my loyalty/reward account and then comingled it with my loyalty points. They refused to remove the welcome bonuses(they gave me a welcome bonus for each casino I signed up at.

Then when I transfered the points, and purposely lost the money so that my account would only be accrueing loyalty points from that time on. They locked all accounts and called me a bonus abuser.

The manager was an ass, support stunk.

Yes, I was labeled a "whore" when I played there. They changed their tune once they bought out Aztec Riches and Phoenician - and got to see the 40,000 of action they might have had if they had not been so damn rude:p

I am now a VIP at Casino Rewards, even got the unlucky keyring.
I was also offered a generous 100% to 150 bonus last year, nothing like it since, just those "free spins" promotions although they were at least meaningful, unlike the 1c per spin efforts of BelleRock fame.

Casino Rewards appear to have improved, but still have some way to go yet.

Casino Rewards Has Improved

Three years ago at the very beginning of my online casino experience, I won a bonus at Blackjack Ballroom by winning a "coin-flip" contest. I wagered and lost the bonus. A month or two later, I signed up at Yukon Gold Casino and requested the initial-deposit matching bonus available then. The casino refused the request and called me a bonus abuser, even though Blackjack Ballroom and Yukon Gold Casino were the only two Casino Rewards casinos at which I was then registered. I immediately withdrew the deposit without wagering and avoided that group like the plague.

However, last year they offered me several bonuses, some no-deposit, and even added bonus points from the Yukon Gold Casino deposit that I had immediately withdrawn three years ago. They have continued to treat me well, regularly sending me promotional offers that have resulted in some nice wins.

Wow, I have only recently played at this group (last few months) and as I say they have been good so far.Maybe they have improved or maybe it is simply a lottery on whether you get treated well or badly at Casinos.
I agree that the reversal time is bad and I forgot about that.
This option should not be there at all and 24/48 hours is far too long to wait before your withdrawal request is processed.
Has anybody had trouble with them more recently I guess I am just getting desperate to find the right place for me.

Casino Rewards support isn't what it used to be a year or more ago. Ever since they brought in Simon, who's the call center manager i think, or in charge of all the support staff and so on, the whole support has turned around 100% for the better.

If you had a bad experience in the past, you're not alone. Most of us can say that about a lot of other casinos as well, if we've been gambling long.

You should give them another chance, and I'm sure you'll see a huge difference in the way support handles calls now. I am really happy with Rewards now and commend them for recongizing when they're support was needing some serious improvement, and getting the best man for the job and making that happen.

I've run a scad of money through the group and only ever had two problems. One was with a mutant memory of mine or image to data glitch of theirs (as Playcheck showed me I was mistaken).

The other was with a free spin promotion where the terms were not spelled out (minimum 100 bets) I rolled back to pennies while on the phone, and met the 'spoken' terms in time. I proceeded to lose deposit and bonuses and wrote it off. Next day there was an apology and another $200 waiting for me to play with. They didn't need to do that!

Another MG group I have never had problems with is Jackpot Factory.
I've cashed in over a thousand on a $20 deposit with big bonuses and they didn't whine a bit, even sent me a xmas card that I cleaned up on again :)

I envy all your choices Rusty, I have to play at semi/previously dodgy places sometimes just to get the variety I want. But it's just StarBucks and KrispyKream money anyway :)

Have you not read my recent posts :p
semi dogy indeed :D

I'm following all the threads :) and reserving judgement for the most part. It would be sweet if all casinos acted like the CR group when accepting registrations. You saw my post in the other thread about registering an account and software checking parameters like CR does? I'm with ya. But that just isn't the case at other places I've played.

Overall, as a practice, I would consider accepting deposits with no intention of paying as a dodgy practice (T&C be damned) but it's also pretty much the state of the industry from the places I've played at outside of MicroGaming sites.
It doesn't take a bean counter to figure the potential increase in profits for casinos that don't use an excusionary registration process. Why fix it if it ain't broken - the individual operator has 'no control' of the process - and "everyone else is doing it"? State of the Industry, acceptable practice. Doesn't mean it's right and if no one cries foul it would go on forever.

I guess I was saying I envoy your choices as a UK player. I'm diddling around a few casinos I would never bother with if the world was my oyster;) and just because I get paid one day, doesn't mean I'll be paid the next, but its all disposable income so I'm having a little fun playing on the 'dark side'.

May the force be with you :D

Indian Givers!!

Being in the USA and choosing not to play until this mess was over with the government, I was truly excited to receive a birthday gift from Casino Rewards today (Not my birthday just yet).

I thought what a nice group to remember me even if I can't play as of yet and continued to think such wonderful thoughts as "They will definitely get my business when all this clears up" etc etc...

Well, when I went to claim my birthday bonus, I chose the casino I wanted to play at (they give you the list you belong to) and hit claim and lo and behold, a window pops up and says YOU CANNOT CLAIM THIS BONUS at this time. The amount disappeared from my bonus account and now it is empty once again.

To take back a birthday bonus in such a way is downright cold, rude unpleasant and very uncasino like treatment I have ever had.

My thoughts now are, you couldn't PAY ME to EVER play at your casino again. And the time will come when we will be able to play again (the USA) and I will let everyone know about this treatment.

Now, I am all bummed out and my birthday is just around the corner and this was such a lousy blow to someone not able to play for 3 months.....especially when I was so excited....

The buttheads!

Email with returned credit

Ok, Just a while ago (about 5 hours later) I received an email saying that the funds were put into the account I chose to play in. Strange how the money appears after complaining of being an indian giver, isn't it?

Thank you for the gift, even if you traumatized me at first...I feel well again :D

LOL Good things come to those who wait. Is'nt the phrase "Indian giver" racist or is that just PC madness?
Anyway you did get something for nothing in the end.
Did they explain what happened by the way?
Happy Birthday spins:thumbsup:

I hate this group for the sole fact that they don't know the meaning of the word "unsubscribe". They honored my request months ago, yet somehow my email address went back on their spam list.

"Residents of the United States of America shall not be eligible for entry to any of the CasinoRewards promotions at any time."

Is this a new rule? Do they enforce it?

They let me play the promotion and take the bonus. I can hardly wait to see what happens if I go to withdraw. :what:

It has to be something new....

And, as always, they're just going play the "We have no control over what our ["outsourced"] marketing department does" card.
