The NERVE:eek:

They KNOW what they are doing, and are trying to get around the trademark rules.

CoolCat is a permanent resident of the Rogue pit here, and Meister is "Master", but in a different language (German, I think). Casino Master is close, and calling it "Casino Master Live" is as close as it gets without suffering trademark infringement.

CasinoMeister may STILL be able to get the site shut down though, because it could be considered misleading by implying that CoolCat is affiliated with CasinoMeister. It would fool players who know of the CasinoMeister reputation, but have not visited the site.

Hey, but what's this though:confused:

That top bit advertises BOTH the Virtual AND the ex CLOUD rogue casinos, and bills them as having the SAME COUPON CODE and SAME TERMS.
Yet we have been told (or lied to) by Virtual that they DIDN'T buy the old Cloud casinos, and have NEVER OPERATED them.

Funny how two UNRELATED casino groups have the EXACT SAME PROMO down to the TINIEST DETAIL.

Looks to ME like evidence Virtual DO operate the old Cloud (Crystal Palace group) casinos after all;)

Exactly! I was very suprised when I saw this. But then what can you expect from a Rogue casino.

This issue has come up before and Casinomeister (Bryan) is well aware of them. Not sure if Bryan ever followed thru and investigated or filed a complaint with anyone regarding trademark infringement though.

Every time these stiffs pull this sort of stunt serves to reinforce the knowledge that they are truly a Rogue organisation.

They know exactly what they are doing, and yes - I believe it infringes on Casinomeister's registered trademark since they are operating an online casino related website. It's just a matter of me following up on this. They are one of the three "tales of terror" for this week's Halloween webcast (which should be up shortly). And this is not an affiliate site - it's definitely run by the casino.

I also got this email a few weeks ago. I was going to make a post then thought better not. Even negative posts on this casinos lands them new players. And this group will do anything in their power to get new players abroad.

Well, surely this is the proof we needed that Virtual DO really own & run the old Crystal Palace casinos. If it were an affiliate site, the highly unlikely coincidence of the SAME bonus code & SAME terms for it MIGHT just squeak by under the "affiliate special deal" argument; but run by virtual, yet promoting a "competitor" group, no way;)

The rebranding was a ploy to shed the old Crystal Palace reputation, but was ALSO, it seems, used as a means to create a string of "new" casinos that had no overt ties with Virtual.

Thank them for their careless "confession", and shut the b******* down:D

...Seems gamtrak's site is on Godaddy, and it's parked ...
Hmm - just noticed that.

Actually, there is good money in promoting scammy casinos. Since these casinos are reluctant to pay legitimate winnings, the affy (if they are on rev share) shares in the profits.

Some affiliates were making big money hand over fists with the Crystal Palace group when the standard was to confiscate the deposits of bonus "abusers". They would spring all sorts of traps to trick these players - like send them offers from sister casinos, and when these guys would make a deposit and "win" they were blocked out for having multiple accounts. I raised hell about this with RTG and the owner of CP, and this policy was changed: they would return the deposits.

Funny how so many players have forgotten about this - especially when I get beat up when siding with a casino on some issue.

Back to the discussion, yes - webmasters can profit off of scam sites that are ethically challenged. But you have to have rocks in your head to do so because they will rip off a webmaster just as quickly as they would screw a player. Gambling Wages should be tarred and feathered and driven out on a rail. And any webmaster who supports this group should do some self inventory on their motivations for promoting casinos that renege on player agreements and DON'T PAY THEIR PLAYERS.

(I'm posting this in both 'Casinomasterlive' threads because they should be merged)

For about a week now I have noticed that Casinomasterlive's website is down AND I haven't seen any spam from The Virtual Group in a while either.

I know I sent an email to the administrator of the mailling site that Casinomasterlive uses for it's newsletter pointing out these threads and the site's connection to the crooked casinos and I did receive a positive response.

Is something finally being done to stop Casinomasterlive and The Virtual Group?

Yes, something has been done - they are transferring the site over to me.

I added that while CM was merging and responding, did they contact you?

Ok, I must comment on this. In case there are some people reading this who think they can make a quick buck promoting these guys, here is the truth:

You will NOT profit from this either. The only ones profiting here are the casinos.

The whole thing is a convoluted story:

1. Casino offers humongous bonus to player.

2. Whether player wins or loses, or is paid or not, the bonus is deducted from affiliate earnings in it's entirety.

3. As soon as player finished WR casino offers another huge bonus.

4. Player can never cash out because is ALWAYS fighting to finish WR, which can never be finished since a new one is always added instantly. Affiliate cannot get paid because affiliate earnings are always negated by additional huge bonuses paid out.

5. Casino laughs all the way to the bank.

Also, an interesting post here on CAP re. Clubplayer etc.

Comes right back to what I am always saying:

If it hurts player, it hurts affiliates and vice versa. If the casino lacks integrity, it just lacks integrity, period.

Lots of affiliates are trapped here just like lots of players are. We need to be listening to each other!

(Ok, stepping off soap box now )

How hard did you have to squeeze them to finally get them to turn that domain name over to you...

I just reminded them that Casinomeister was a registered trademark, and the right thing to do would be to take it down.
