hi. Well I received my Bovada check..It says to deposit your check via ATM..Maybe this is a silly question, but does that mean I should not
take check inside bank and deposit? I use a relatively small local bank and have never used a ATM machine..thanks

I would follow what Bovada suggests. My first check from Bovada stated to deposit only thru ATM. My second check stated to deposit only with Bank Teller or Check Cashing Store (do not use ATM).

If your still unsure, just shoot them an email or if you need an answer immediately, call them.

If your check isn't drawn on a US bank, there's a very good chance the ATM will reject it. You may as well try, but don't be surprised if it doesn't work. Just deposit it at the teller. Despite what others have said in this thread, chances are nothing will be asked. If the teller does ask, they are just verifying that it isn't a scam check from ebay or craigslist or something. Just say the check is payment from a trusted source. If they press further, tell them you do pornographic webcamming for money, and that you'd be happy to go into the specifics of your particular area of expertise if they're interested.

Exactly what bpb said... Online casinos like Bovada state this because they know that
some people might fold under pressure and state that the check comes from online
casino winnings when asked. This causes headaches on both parties, the winner because
they will forever be scrutinized by the bank and the online casino itself because they have to
issue out another check or find the player an alternate method of withdraw.

On a side note, after replying, in my mind online gambling in the U.S. nowadays is similar to the
prohibition laws we had in the 1920's... Kinda. :p
