Hello to my Canadian friends on the forum.
As previously posted & bragged about my daughter Anne Erler played last year for the LFL in the US representing Green Bay as the Quarterback, voted Rookie of the Year for the league, and then part of the All Star tour of Australia for two weeks.
They played two games to record crowds in Brisbane and Sydney.
The US league is switching to a spring/summer schedule so she won't be playing for Green Bay again until Spring 2013.
LFL started a Canadian League and then allowed the Canadian teams to "free agency draft" players from the US to play this fall. Annie is playing QB for Saskatoon Sirens. They won their first game Saturday night 22-18.
So a "shout out" to the Canadian members of the forum to watch some great athletes play in your country this fall.
