I think alot are in the same boat as you. I have cut down on depositing by about 85%. Too low of rtp, way too many shady casinos, legit casinos now limiting max cashouts, max bets and looking for ways to not pay you if you win.
I only deposit now if I get a decent bonus offer.

The volume of fake casinos popping up make it harder and harder to find legit sites easily, sites like CM/AG/Guru etc are more important than ever for players. I have spent over a decade playing slots on and off as a casual player, never even checked licenses etc until the past 24 months, it's gotten that bad.

Yep been there myself. Although with me I found I was playing too much, hence I signed up with Gamstop. The regulation of the UK as it stands now is such it ensures I have no desire whatsoever to let my signing up to Gamstop lapse.

My aim each month is to only spend what I have coming in each month and leaving my savings alone for those rainy days. I do that by limiting the casinos that I play at and never using deposit bonuses.I also think it is wise to be careful about new casinos. Bank of daddy usually eats into savings but I hope to make that shortfall up by cashing in dividends once a year.

Gambling isn't what it used to be now that AI have taken over. It just seems so artificial and not so down to earth.
If I pull an "@ESCJAMIE " with 15 - 100 times what he won and have gotten my forum revenge against my persistent "nemesis" at least 3 more times i'll start chilling and let go of these horse reins on gambling.
For now however......holding on to these reins and hitting that horse's ss@ until I get to that finish line! Go go go!
