What I find strange is that this email addressed my name the way I had registered at Rival's. A trick an old wise salesman taught me was to keep a list of who you provide your information to with just an ever so slight change so as to assist with tracking how and where your info goes. I tried but that is as far as I could trace.

However, using these methods, I have learned over the years that privacy and/or personal information that is protected under any privacy statement is subject to the "changed my mind about not selling it", rationalizations, justifications and any thing else that you could think of with respect what goes on in the minds of the "information requesting" parties.

What I am getting at is that privacy statements are based on trust, trusting in someone or something you never have nor will probably ever meet. Yet we trust them with our info. Heck, it is blind faith, but since it is blind, one needs to use little tricks to rout or find out who the real culprits are. You know the liars and scammers who violated the blind trust between you and them (the ones you had a privacy agreement with in the first place). Funny thing, I know a gent who doesn't trust most folks that he personally knows (even his wife and kids), yet will defend the integrity of one organization and other individuals with which he has never met in person nor even spoke with.

Privacy statements are temporary and generally do not apply to the future nor the past, but only the present which of course, is if the person you entrusted your information with has integrity.

So I am afraid the spam will continue, since the ones who violated our trust never seem to be mentioned. To me, that is the real issue. Nobody likes spam so kill the spammers, but what about the ones who make and sell the spam for spammers to spam?

In all fairness, not all keepers of the personal information are bad or have ill intent. But protection of the information is such a big undertaking, in fact so great that many keepers do not have the mental capacity, energy, or drive to protect that what they so eagerly requested from us.

Just a thought and a reminder.

I'm also getting those mails from 'Lauren' and 'Zhen' that seems to come from ClubWorld group i'm tried to unsubscibe so many times, but nothing happens...

I am begining to think Lauren is my new best friend as well.

I get at least 1 email a day from each of the clubworld casinos and have unsubcribed so many times but they still keep coming, so i just give up on trying to unsubscribe and just delete them automaticly when i see them.

Anyone have any idea how to stop these emails from coming?

Thanks.

Not sure.

Usually a new e-mail address takes care of the spam. Once you do that you could set up one new email address for each casino and find out who is selling your information!!!!!!

Then name and shame. I think I will register a differerent email address with each one over the next week.
