Yes that’s right as a result of my stupidity in failing to believe the game can actually continue to be that fucking awful. They’ve kindly decided that the responsible thing to do is continue to allow me deposit with their self imposed limit of 5 bag a month. But not allow me to take part in either the bonus drop or the scratch of the day!! Well done 888/Billy Hills and fuck you.

I’ll take my £3.2k profit which probably would have been 10k if it hadn’t been for Bonanza and never play there again. Strangely tho I’m still getting the epic odds and have still not had betting restrictions enforced which is where all the profit has come from. I got one yesterday after about 450 spins that paid bloody awful and now it refuses to give another. Surely it has to make up for this and start thowing them in once the seal is broken. WTF?? That is the first VERIFIED instance I've seen of people who usually say "Oh, I had 4000 spins and no feature blaha blah..." I have gone over 2500 (counted) without one, so say I did that twice consecutively that would be 2 features in over 5k spins. But one in 8.1k??? That is unbelievably bad. I recall 13 consecutive deposits at Jackpot Joy without one, but I didn't count the total spins and they were £50 deposits playing 40-60p so assuming 300 spin average that would have been just shy of 4k spins, only half as bad as yours.

I think that serves as a reminder of what the variance of Bonanza is capable of, it can go on extended periods of utter shiteness then all of a sudden you'll get a session where they drop in like confetti and keep on doing so day after day. I hope that's the case for you - with Jackpot Joy in my case I SE'd before I ever got to the point of luck changing as I was so pissed off with it. It's also noticeable your RTP is pretty bang on the base game proportion of 76% so with 20% for the feature and no features landed it strikes a chord.

RTP is the same as it's always been, no change there.

By all accounts feature frequency is the same at 1/460, the experiences that continue to be reported in this thread back that up.

TheSchwad's numbers above are very instructive, 8000 spins isn't normally enough of a sample to draw a conclusion for anything on a slot, but 8000 spins without a feature, especially on a base game as grindy as Bonanza, does actually give us a decent number, and it's landed bang on the base game RTP it's always had.

This means that bonus round RTP remains the same as well, as we know the overall RTP hasn't changed.

All that being the case, what's left? They could have changed the volatility of the base game and/or the bonus round, but what's the point of that? It doesn't achieve anything, and we continue to get reports in this thread of it still being able to deliver long grindy sessions from relatively small deposits.

You’re confusing 1 or 2 people saying it’s been changed with that of a global opinion.

As I said it’s always had the ability to behave like this. Some people will have managed to avoid it. Others won’t have been so lucky. Everybody comes on and moans when they get shafted and I’m certainly no different, but that doesn’t mean the game has been changed. However it’s examples like the above (1 feature in 8.5k spins) that really make you realise the game is a shit show compared to other slots that DO produce far better value for money.

In fresh news after my hills mauling I tried 365 yesterday. The MSG speed fest.

£250 wiped out on 40/60p but I did manage 3 features. 2 were both under 50x the other slightly above.

A revisit this morning and 100x stake deposit wiped out in 13 minutes and 7 seconds.

Now that my friends is value.

I was close to a grand up over a couple of weeks on football and horses along with a fortunate hit on another game. Bonanza has munched the lot on small stakes and has been an absolute disgrace. A reminder to myself of why I ditched depositing with my ‘own’ money.

Played it with money for the last few sessions: it gave a 500 and 600x in the first session. Knew what was coming next, but with insanity i just continued: went 4 deposits over the next few session with hardly a L, let alone D - wiped out the 500x win so still up but tbf, it's always been like that IMO, even back to the glory days of 2017/18
