Beware: Fake NetEnt Gaming Server

The last couple of months have seen a significant rise in the number of unlicensed/rogue casinos using counterfeit NetEnt games. It's no surprise when on the 'Darknet' full suites of fake software are being sold for as little as $500 to criminals eager to make a quick buck.

I have just discovered that last month a individual based in Bosnia and Herzegovina registered the domain casinomodul.com which minus the 'e' at the end resembles NetEnt's gaming server. Within this short space of time, several casinos have appeared using this fake gaming server. Most CM forum regulars would notice straightaway tiny changes in font and graphics when using the games that something wasn't right, but with the trickery of a official looking domain name, some players may be scammed.

For fun, I played several of the games in free mode to see how good the fake games were and well... DoA now has scatters in the bonus round (?!) and the progressive games have very weird sound effects and major display issues!

Several rouged sites by CM now run on this fake server including casino4live.com (https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/threads/casino4live-com-are-they-any-good.68882/?t=68882) and 724arena.com. Remember always check that you are playing over a genuine secure NetEnt 'https' connection and the correct address is casinomodule.com on a mobile device. If you only play at accredited casinos you will never have this issue anyway :)

Seems that the URL is now down modul .com

I pity the poor souls who get scammed by such illegal sites. Anyone new coming into the game would not really have a clue. Bad all around. Well found Nicola!

Well, who'd have thought it??:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I had to go in and check the site. Haven't done that before. The Novomatic games still work but no Playtech or Netent.
Now I could just use the demo and they could work if anyone sign up. I didn't want to do that as you can understand.

While I tried the games a chatwindow opened and I couldn't stop myself :)
For some reason they didn't want to talk to me. Maybe it was stupid to warn them, but what do I know?

I also did a google search. They are in top themselves but second and third are threads from here telling they are rogue and are having fake games:thumbsup:

The demo play isn't working on Casino4live, on any slots, and i'm not signing up to have a look, lol

There's just a server error. So maybe something has been done about it

The fake NetEnt games are still working on 724arena.com. If you click the ? (bottom left) once a NetEnt game has loaded it shows the fake server address.

I love the way you can play progressive slots for free, such a give away :D

Another URL to be aware of is casinomodyle.com which was registered a few weeks ago (thanks ihatedealers)

These scum are now upping their game using clustered servers and cloudflare to boaster their illegal offerings.

Btw seems like affpower casinos doesnt have netent anymore.. so did netent actually do something or what ?

Hi there, i am right now playing at Evobet.com. They have the questionable 1668 JAZZ Curacao license (wich i renetly learned to look for..) and when playing netent games like DOA it gies this URL :
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Does it look legit ?

Ps.: When opening the game "Book of the Dead" it shows
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
as Source - again - does this look like it should ?
