The review of Betway Casino here on Casinomeister has been updated. In operation now for a quarter of a century, Betway should not need any introduction, especially to those players that reside within the UK, due to their sponsoring of large sporting events.

Betway currently resides in the Grey Zone on Casinomeister as they do not have a rep on the forum, but being licensed by the UKGC players are protected as a result.

However, it is worth heeding Max's comments, of which I include one below:

Its getting embarassing this now mate - I know your back is against the wall with regards to the gentoo/review scores but lets break this down based on the review:

Multiple fines issued by the UKGC over the years
Lack of a VIP or loyalty program
Abscence of weekend withdrawals
Moved away from using Casinomeister to handle complaints

Still get a score of 7.2 and links for welcome bonuses

If someone joins through clicking on the welcome bonus links, do Gentoo/CM get a kick back on that?

Yep, please do not shoot the messenger here. If you know my own history with Betway and their sister group, you will know I have never been their biggest fan.

That said, it is my role to ensure all updated and new reviews are announced on the forum and I think I am quite clear in pointing out any potential pitfalls...

Im not shooting at you mate - its more the overall process is a joke. Casinos that are refusing to engage with CM and had multiple fines leveraged against them should not get a 72% review score

Yep I know and believe me, we ( forum staff ) are just as much at odds with the current scoring. But it definitely will be looked at.

I really hope it does - for me it takes the piss a little out of the likes of ABC/Lottomart etc. (and others) who work hard to maintain the reputation they have, but equally you have casinos who are not engaging, getting fines etc. but they are only 2 points off the top slots on a review score

The company behind Betway were involved with the Palace Group, who owned and ran Spin Palace Casino among others. Their affiliate program was called Buffalo Partners. I knocked this up about ten years ago.
