I play betsoft blackjack at videoslots and have come to the conclusion after thousands of hands that it is dodgy software plain and simple.

My last session, I lost 48 hands in a row. Betting between $25 to $100 per hand. It happens regularly. In my previous session on the weekend I lost 82 hands out of 128. Today the dealer got 9 blackjack. Five of which were in a row. The five blackjack happened when I increased my bet from $50 to $100.

It is a pity that videoslots still has betsoft slots and games on their list because as far as I am concerned their games are rogue.

A friend of mine who is a very good poker player won £20,000 in a live tournament. He lost it all in 1 night playing blackjack online. He is a very intelligent guy but his head went and he increased stakes and bust out. He believed prior to this that it was random and after this event he was more 50/50. I have never believed any version is random but that's just my opinion.

Betsoft have previously been associated with rigged software, most notably jackpot progressives. I don't trust them despite some decent slots, primarily because of this and the fact they supply software to some rogue casinos. Online BJ plays nothing like land-based and seems to play more like a slot, with pronounced dead periods and unnatural winning streaks, usually for the house. This could be because unlike LB online BJ can have results pulled from thousands of decks in the shoe at once.

I played 50 quid on online BJ several years ago and the dealer had luck with odds against that probably exceeded the number of atoms in the visible universe. I never played it since..

Totally agree and I think you would be hard pushed to find anyone who thinks online computerised blackjack plays like the land based game.It is actually quite amusing to play in fun mode and marvel at the number of times the dealer hits 20 or 21 or turns a blackjack from a ten upcard.Unfortunately live online blackjack can be extremely slow but is the only chance you have of coming out with a profit.
